The set comes with a backdrop of a WWII airfield including a hanger, control tower and a 6' runway all in wood. The 15 aircraft average 6" in length. In the plan: a hot air balloon, an air ship including it's mooring, the Wright Brothers first plane, The Spirit of St. Louis, military aircraft like the B-17 (The Flying Fortress), P-38 (twin fuselage), P-40 (Flying Tiger), F-22, B-2 Stealth Bomber and an Apache helicopter. Also, a Grumman Sea plane, commercial aircraft like the Super Constellation and 747, the Flying Wing, the Blackbird, a bi-wing plane, and an X-15. There are ideas for building other favorite planes in wood too. Great for collectors and aviation enthusiasts. The airfield section of the plan includes a hanger with an easy lift door and a spacious interior. A windsocks sit on top. Also, a control tower, a heliport and a 6' long landing strip.
