LEFT and RIGHT instructions not clear
If you read anything, read this: the "instructions" include how to switch which side you put the drawer but are not marked. The top set is to put the drawer in the RIGHT, the second set is to put it on the LEFT. This is not clearly indicated anywhere. To assemble I laid out the pieces exactly like the instructions show, which helped. The pieces go together by using tabs into slots, and is held together with the tight fit and friction. I completely assembled it following the top set of instructions before realizing the drawer would be on the right and I wanted it on the left. It took staring at the instruction sheet for a few minutes trying to figure it out. Taking it apart was a easy as putting it together, which makes me wonder about how sturdy it will stay. I cannot afford to damage my computer so I may pull it apart and add a bit of glue. The static on this is ridiculous. I ended up wiping it down with a dryer sheet to finish assembly. The finished piece is okay. I like the size and overall design but I do not like that all the edges are unfinished and the tabs/slots show. This makes it look cheap. I plan to either paint it or maybe cover it with some kind of decorative finish. This is for my home office and I don't have clients here, but I do want it to look nice. It just falls a bit short. Overall, it's an okay product. Not sure I would buy again.

It does work, but looks dinky
Most of the reason for the lower ratings was value for the money. This thing is not even WOOD particle board, is like plastic infused MDF. Basically a really stiff foam. This is something you'd pick up at Target's Dorm Essentials area for $15.99. The instructions are also not labeled well, it's easy to mistake which set to follow. I got to the point where I realized the peices go a certain way for the configuration I wanted, and tried to pull the flat side peice off, and it broke under my feeble arthritic grasp. The tabs where everything fits together are also very visible along with all the edges, so the assembled product looks rather cheap. BUT it does hold my monitor and small pc, and raise it to the height I wanted. It seems to be deceptively sturdy. I would trust a monitor on it, but not a tower, or anything of substantial weight.

Great item to have!
This is a great, but simple item to have for a desk/workspace. I wasn’t too pleased since the pieces weren’t labeled. However, if you have common sense and can study the diagram it shouldn’t be too hard to assemble.I’d say the material is like a high end Cardboard/foam material, bad reference, but close enough. It’s durable to hold an iMac and some nic-nacs. One slot can hold a couple file folders, slot next to it can hold several pieces of mail or envelops. The pull out drawer is not that deep or wide so small items to store in there. The open compartment above the drawer can be universal use.It has a small open space between the file compartment and the bottom surface to slide yer keyboard and mouse under to create some desk space. Also has small openings in the back to run your keyboard or other electronic devices wires thru it.It took me aprox 10 mins to install and is a simple easy on the eyes piece to invest in.Only dislike is, when you’ve gotten the entire piece put together, on both ends u can see where all the inserts are placed. Maybe the manufacturers can figure out a way to color or blend in the insert tip pieces to blend in the exterior pieces so it all looks like one piece.

Better than I thought!
Was skeptical at first due to some of the VERY negative reviews here. Yes it's NOT wood, but it's also not exactly just cardboard--it's a very dense, sturdy material that honestly is similar to the cheaper lines of IKEA product (i.e. EKET line of product). Yes there are no written words on the instructions and just photos, but if you paid close attention you can figure it out in no time. (IKEA instruction manuals also are ALL pictorial) It took me 15 mins to put it together and everything just snapped tightly in place, no tools necessary! The edges might not be as "finished" or smooth as you might want but if it REALLY bothers you, you can just spray paint over the whole thing. All in all i think the product is well made, well packaged, and good value (I paid $30). It fit nicely on my small desk without taking up too much space, and the small drawer/nooks/holes for cords really cleaned up the space!

Great Deal!
So I wasn't really expecting to be putting together a puzzle when assembling this product, but at least I didn't have to go digging around for a screwdriver! I love it, thought my monitor is definitely too big (I knew it would be, but didn't it would be so much, not the fault of the product- Just read the dimensions!) so I'll probably have to get a different one of those, thought I still manage with it hanging off some. I love the little cubby and have plenty of space now!My only complaint is the material. It feels like foam and the boards aren't finished on their sides, so that rough, almost splintery texture is still very apparent

Just right for my desk
Overpriced but necessary and cute. Goes together with no tools like a puzzle. Not as flimsy as some of the reviews seem to indicate. I wouldn't call it foam. It's particle board. Some people never seen cheap furniture before I guess. but i have my doubts if it could really hold 40lbs. Anyway i like it. It's true white and perfect amt of height and storage.

Be careful when pressing the pieces together.
All the pieces are friction fit, tabs on one piece insert into slots on another piece. All the pieces are made of some kind of particle board material. This material is somewhat brittle, I chipped some of the edges of the tabs while trying to insert them into slots, I consider myself lucky that I didn't break any of the tabs off (it feels like it could have happened).Once assembled, it's pretty sturdy. There is some slight sag of the boards that hold up the monitor. Time will tell if this sag gets worse over time (but it wouldn't be hard to fix).
