Having two small children requires a thermometer or 10 in the house. I have tried them all... regular oral, tympanic, temporal scanner, etc. Personally, I don't think anything is more accurate that oral or axillary, but that is not always the easiest with kids. They don't want to hold still or put things under their arm or in their mouth.The Dreaminex thermometer is like my Exergen temporal scanner in that both can give you a variety of readings at a given time. The difference is that I could never tell with the Exergen if I was using it correctly! With the Dreaminex thermometer, I place it close to their temple or forehead and push the button. Readings are generally very close to each other. If it shows a reading that is way off I know it. Simply putting your hand to your child's forehead and feeling the heat will let you know that their temperature is not 98.2 no matter what the thermometer says!The Dreaminex thermometer is extremely easy to use. Simply push the button and the reading shows. No long wait. No fuss, no muss. It's handy to have when your child is asleep and you don't want to wake them up checking their temperature. The volume is easy to adjust- you can have a voice tell the temperature out loud or you can turn the volume off for quiet readings. The screen goes from green to yellow to red depending on the temperature reading.I have no regrets buying this thermometer. My children don't mind when I want to check their temperature with this one. They like to see the different color screens. (although I don't!!) Bottom line, when your kids are sick, having one less thing for them to cry about is a huge plus! The Dreaminex thermometer is quick, easy, and a great product to have in the home.

Medical Forehead Thermometer - Digital Intelligent Temporal Infrared Baby Thermometer - Instant-Read Body TemperatureI have been wanting to purchase a different digital Thermometer for using with my children. I received the Digital Intelligent Temporal Infrared Thermometer yesterday in the mail and was excited to try out the Thermometer.Pros:1. Easy to operate and took the temperature quickly.2. Able to use with humans of all ages, water and room3. Display was easy to read4. Non Contact with body as it uses infra-red thermometer5. Does have a memory function, which would be useful in remembering past temperature of a person.Cons:1. Temperature is not accurate. I followed the instruction of letting the thermometer set in the room for 30 minutes and then I took the temperature of my family. I made sure that I was between 1-3 cm from the forehead and all of the temperature reading for my family was 97.3 F to 97.5 F. I then got out our old ear thermometer and read the temperature of all our family and we all had normal readings between 98.5 to 98.7 F. This Thermometer did state that it reads external temperature, however if I have sick children, I need to have an accurate reading and I would be questioning the digital Thermometer by Dreaminex in giving me a correct reading, even if it was external. I also tried the room mode of the thermometer, it showed that my house was 61 F and according to my house thermometer my house was 70 F.2. The voice on the thermometer was hard to understand and very annoying. When I turned off the voice, it also turned off the beep to let me know when the temperature was taken.Since I feel that the Thermometer is not as accurate as other thermometer, I rate this digital thermometer 3 stars.

I purchased this in late August 2017 as a back up thermometer for our household. My son has a Period Fever Syndrome called Familial Mediterranean Fever. He often spikes temperatures of 105° to 106 ° and his temperature can fall to 94°. It is imperative we have an accurate thermometer for when he is sleeping so we can make decisions regarding emergency room visit. We also have to track his temperatures for his medical team.This thermometer reads about 2.7° below the Braun No Touch forehead, our Kinsa oral thermometer, and our Exergen thermometer. In my son's case 2 degrees can mean the difference between increased medication and hospital stays. We can't trust this device.

What a wonderful product. Makes taking the kids temp so easy!I don't even need to do any begging, I just point and it's there, without any discomfort or needing my young daughters to keep still.And, i'm using it in their room every night, to make sure the temperature there is always just perfect. I also check the bath water temperature for my baby before I put her in. Helped me a lot to keep a safe home.

I love this thermometer, i didn't think it would be so accurate. But i tried it and then i tried the traditional and it was exact. So now i know it works, and its so easy and non-intrusive and my daughter laughs every time i check her temperature, so for me thats a good thing. Highly recommended!!!

This is amazing.After a very bad experience using a forehead thermometer I got at Costco I am super suspicious of these.This one does a great job! I took a few days to compare with a trusted thermometer I have been using for a while and this one is accurate every single time!I love that it has a backlight, and it will also speak to you if you chose.Super useful with babies, would make a great babyshower gift!

The best purchase I ever made! I definitely love it, It came on time, good brand and quality. I use it to check the temperature for my baby room, check the bath temperature and the drink.
