No more having to fold over a towel to stand on, I have chronic PF and my feet hurt to stand on anything hard, plus I was always worried about slipping and falling, Folding a towel over gave me some traction with two layers of softness to stand on, I tried this matt once about a yr or two ago with only a tub and it didn't fit right so I had to send it back but since tearing it out and upgrading to a step in shower I decided to try it again and I'm so happy I did, It fits perfect now and the water drains out very good, I no longer have to worry about wringing water out of a towel every time I get out of the shower. You don't have to have the center of this matt directly over the drain hole, The water drains out very easy with the other holes with it being slightly raised. Remember to spray it off afterwards and lean it up against the wall to keep it clean and to keep mold from growing under it. I would recommend this to anyone who's experiencing pain in there feet.

It's a good size, and is genuinely nice to stand on, much nicer than the fuzzy fabric-y ones, and seems more hygienic than those. Using it on a tiled floor, the underside doesn't create enough clearance for stall water to drain quickly, but it does finally drain.It doesn't fell unsafe at all, but it does want to move around a little as you move, so the included adhesive strips would be necessary to stop that.

At 76 y.o. and years of walking, my feet have become sore. I bought this for my small shower and the fit was perfect. I did have doubts about the way the 4 squares have to be assembled using the interlocking tabs but now I see that this is not a concern. The pad has stayed together as designed, even after several months of constant use. This is a really nice product. Note that the shower water sticking the mat creates a bit more noise but this is not a big deal. I would definitely buy again. The smoother side is facing up and there is never any slippage while standing on it. It can be removed from the shower and scrubbed clean outdoors or even scrubbed on the shower floor with a long-handles scrub brush. It is designed so that nothing is trapped under it. If something like soap or toothpaste is meant to go down the drain, it will.

I have inflammatory arthritis so I get bad plantar fasciitis and showering has been especially painful for months. This has helped so much and I no longer worry about showering any more.It claims it isn’t a replacement for a replacement for a non-slip mat but I find it doesn’t slip at all and works really well.Some have said it isn’t cushioned enough but I find it’s just right and helps so much. If you have foot pain and want to shower in more comfort then I highly recommend this. My only regret is that I didn’t buy it months ago.
