A timeless classic clone
This scent is really close to the original Polo Blue. The watermelon note is super prominent, which I actually appreciate, as it gives it that fresh, summery feel. The bergamot and cardamom in the opening add a nice citrusy, vibrant touch that’s perfect for warmer weather. However, the dry-down lacks the complexity that Polo Blue has. While it still has a musky, woody base with notes of vetiver and amberwood, it doesn’t quite have the depth I was hoping for. Since Polo Blue isn’t my go-to scent anyway, this one won’t make it into my regular rotation, but I can see it being a great summer fragrance for most people. It’s fresh, clean, and pretty versatile. This is the one Dossier where even though I like it, I would say to just get the original if you can afford it because the value isn't quite there for the money.

Smoky watermelon fragrance
really nice smell, very unisex. Not too sweet, but just a little note of watermelon.

Excellent dupe of Polo Blue EDT
This smells almost entirely the same as Ralph Lauren Polo Blue EDT.The differences - Dossier Aromatic Watermelon has a fruitier opening, with a more robust honeydew melon. How close is it? - Once you are past the opening, the heart notes are almost identical. Both are an aquatic blue fragrance that smell fresh, clean and aromatic. Other people around you will not be able to tell the difference. The bottle - This has a magnetic cap and a high quality atomizer that is much better than most designer brands. This is worth mentioning because a cheap atomizer can make applying your favorite fragrance disappointing and may lead to underperformance.Overall: 10/10 for match and likeableness. No one hates this profile, it is mass appealing and safe for the office or the gym.Should you try this over the original? - Absolutely 10/10 it smells the same and it will save you money and perform better than the original.

Nice for warmer months and the office
I have never smelled the original Ralph Lauren Polo Blue. My husband and my son both tried this. My son said it was too spicy. He tends to like fresh scents and I was surprised he did not like this one. My husband likes spicier niche fragrances like PDM Herod and he did like this dupe. He liked both the cleanness of the scent and the hint of spiciness of the cardamon. This smells much more like a fougere with its herbaceous middle notes. Usually, there is a citrus opening on fresh scents like this one. The watermelon note may not be to everyone's taste. I think it works here with the other top notes. It is appropriate for office wear and especially for outdoors in warmer weather. The projection is not overly strong but not weak either. You need a few good sprays for projection. The sillage is in the medium range too. Longevity is for a few hours, then it becomes a skin scent.

Very good smellalike for the OG.
I find Dossier can be hit or miss, e.g. we got "NOVEL" (i think that's what it's called) which is supposed to be their version of Margiela's "Whispers in the Library," but it didn't feel like a great match (it does smell nice though). This one however, is basically a dead ringer for Polo Blue, and it's got good performance (better than the original, because it's at perfume concentration, where the OG is EDT).That said, while this is less expensive than the OG, I think the modest price point of the OG makes this a pass for me, but I do love the magnetic caps, and I love that Dossier cares about the environment (simple paper packaging with no unnecessary plastic).

Great fresh aquatic scent for the summer
Dossier does a great job of recreating very popular scents. Aquatic Watermelon is meant to be inspired by Polo Blue, which is a very classic summer blue aquatic fragrance. They're in the same ballpark but not twins. Aquatic Watermelon leans more into the fruity side, especially with the more pronounced watermelon note. On the other hand, Polo Blue feels smoother and more blended. If you're looking for an exact 1:1 clone, Aquatic Watermelon isn't quite it, but it’s in the same style and gets pretty close for a much lower price. On its own, it's a wonderful interpretation and a great pick up for the late spring and summer. It has great longevity and feels fresh and clean while holding up to the higher heat.

Too strong and scent was not what I was expected
Overpowering. Could smell my husband from another room. Ordered the watermelon scent, but it did not smell anything remotely like watermelon. Smelled like chemicals, almost close to cleaning agents.
