This is a very nice looking cake stand/serving set. It's not flimsy and the pieces fit together very well. It would be perfect by itself or with other plastic/acrylic pieces but I returned it after seeing it with the other glass pieces on the dessert table. Next to them it looked like plastic. I would heartily recommend it for anyone wanting a versatile piece to use outdoors or with other similar pieces.

The item description reads 42 piece set -- service for 8 plus 2 add'l pieces -- but the actual item name is correct: it's service for 4 (with 5 pieces each). Other that that, it's great!

This is a fabulous cake saver and display stand. I previously had a virtually identical one from Lakeland which I dropped and cracked and I missed it so much that I was desperate to buy another. This is very good quality and as long as it is washed with a soft cloth, retains its shine really well. It has a sensible diameter and height unlike most on the market, so it will fit a decent sized Victoria sponge (I make an 8"). Turning the base upside down allows it to be stored in a more compact way. I believe that the inverted base has been designed so that it can be used for dips and crudities but I have never done this as yet. I regularly use it at home, but also have taken it to PTA and village events for cake sales and afternoon teas as it not only displays cakes beautifully, it is also very effective at preventing them from drying and becoming stale. My friends often comment on it and at least 2 of them have since bought their own. I would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Very versatile product. Used to cover sausage rolls over Christmas and then used for dips and crisps at a party. Made of good quality and durable plastic and because its in several pieces it takes up less space and is easier to store. I would recommend.

My wife is delighted with this item. Keeps her large cakes fresh. Very well made and easy to wash/keep clean. We had thought about purchasing a glass one but worried it would be damaged. This item is perfect.

This cake stand and dome is just what I wanted. I haven't used it yet, but look forward to doing so when I have guests. The quality is better than I was expecting. I would highly recommend this product.

1 item has the dome broken and arrived like this. Unsure if this was done before of during shipping but a bit disappointed. Will take a picture of it in the morning as I am already off to bed.

Like the multifunctional nature of this stand, exactly as pictured and seller wrapped nicely and carefully. Haven't had a chance to use it as cake I bought was too big but come Xmas it's gonna be my gadget of choice!!!!!!! Thanks to another good Seller!

Great product. Multiple uses is fantastic. Not 'plasticity' at all. Although it is not made of glass, it is still strong material but also not so heavy either. Easy to store. Excellent all around

Ordered this for myself and box arrived slightly battered and bruised so I began to think the worse... but the stand is made from a very durable hard plastic and arrived in perfect condition! Great purchase would recommend

Great item

Fantastic bit of kit for keeping Gluten Free goodies covered and free for contamination at Cake Sales. It is light weight and easy to clean. Multi purpose which I am personally unlikely to use it as a dip plate or trifle bowl.
