I really love the grobo, the idea is sound and the product is solid. However, it's expensive, very expensive. For the price of this thing you can easily setup a fully decked out 6 plant hydro system in a tent, even with expensive LED lights. The cost does't end with the purchase of the unit, the nutrient bottles (you'll use most of all five for a single grow) are 60 bucks. You're going to need lots of RO water too, plan on changing it about once a week during your grow (more of a hydro thing than the grobo, albeit). The software is decent, with relatively few bugs, none of them are major. The support staff is A+, should you need them, and there's a good chance you will at some point. This thing has a lot of components that can go wrong...lights, fans, water pumps, micro-dosing pumps, EC and PH sensors, float switches, controller board....The good part is, it's a complete tip-to-tail solution for growing your own and makes growing pretty much plug-and-play. So, if you are just getting started like I was, this thing is great. I learned a lot about the process using it and have taken that knowledge to a larger setup. I'm still using my grobo, had a harvest last week and started another seed in there today. If you can drop 2G on a grow box, you might like it, and you'll gain some knowledge about the growth cycle and deep water culture hydroponics along the way.
