Works as intended so far.
With a little handyman skill's it is no problem changing out the motor. (Turn off the electricity and confirm with a voltmeter) This is the exact same as one I had put in at least 10 years earlier but casing rotted out, Should have removed it during the winter or covered with a protective cover. Runs quiet and not difficult to install. Order the gasket set which includes all gaskets and spring-loaded bushing that should be changed out. This is the true tester of durability, but it made it through a month before shutting down the Pool. Only issue is Made In China label stamped on motor.

One week into it so far so good excellent fit in replacement for Hayward super pump nice and quiet hopefully will keep running strong like the first one 22 years!!Will update in a year fingers crossed

So far so good
Replaced my old noisy motor with this one. Installed it a week ago and works fine. The only concern is the motor does get hot but I bought it on sale for a good price. Will have to wait and see how long it will last. So far so good!

Quality replacement pool pump motor
Replacement motor for Hayward Northstar pump. Easy to install and much quieter. Mounting face is the same, diameter is 1" smaller but includes a rubber spacer to utilize original motor base, abd motor is slightly longer. Great price!
