Trauma [DVD]

Apparently there are a lot of movies called Trauma, I was excited to receive this movie, as I haven't seen it in freakin' years. Tore open my delivery, only to have been sent the wrong "Trauma" movie. I ordered the one starring Asia Argento...how the hell this got screwed up is beyond me.As for the movie, it's got a look and vibe to it that I can't explain, I just know it resonated with me. Plus it's quite screwed up...my type of movie.Also, check out a Korean movie called "Oldboy"....talk about an effed up movie, geez!! Trauma and Oldboy are on my list of my top 20 favorite movies.Anyway, send me the correct movie Secondspin!!!

Classic Argento stuff, one of the first argento films we saw, loved it, nice little twist ending blew us away first time we saw it

of course I'm going to give this one a 5 star rating. Many who have seen this movie wouldn't be so nice with a high rating, but it had some great actors and decent acting. It also stars a young Asia Argento, pretty cool to watch her this young. It's not a perfect movie but worth watching or adding to your collection.

Solid release of a lesser but still enjoyable Argento film

Odds are you already know if this one's for you or not. A lot of people hate on the later Argentos, but I found this to be another enjoyably campy gorefest filled with ridiculous plot twists. Piper Laurie really ought to watch this herself someday...

Delivery on time, Quality better than expected. Satisfaction Garanteeeeeed...

Christmass gift for older sister who has been searching for this on DVD for awhile now. She's a huge Asia Argento fan, so this has played very well amidst her collection.

The movie will leave you speechless and on the edge of your seat. Who, what, and where are the questions.

Argento se propuso hacer las Américas y tras un filme hasta cierto punto a tener en cuenta como es Los ojos del diablo, sentido homenaje a su admirado Edgar Allan Poe, rodada junto a George A. Romero, propuso quedarse en Estados Unidos y filmar una película dentro de su estilo. La experiencia dio como resultado Trauma, un filme que vendría a ser una depuración de su estilo hasta niveles casi abstractos, al servicio de una historia sin duda atractiva pero defendida por una pareja protagonista escasa de carisma. Ciertos momentos muy de su director salvan los muebles de una obra que hizo poco para ayudar a que su director siguiera en Norteamérica.

Une édition remarquable de bout en bout. Très bon master et très intéressant livret.

Un Argento quasi vecchio stile ma con location americana. Storia buona anche se già vista in molti altri film. Attori discreti non molto conosciuti almeno a me, a parte Asia che è il motivo principale di acquisto. Diciamo che si lascia visionare tranquillamente. La suspense non è molto forte.In sintesi: Un misterioso assassino adotta un modus operandi abbastanza forte.Il comparto video per lo standard DVD è buono; la colorimetria come avviene con questo supporto non è mai molto viva, resta comunque di buona qualità. Non è presente rumore video invasivo (grana) o perlomeno non mi ha infastidito infatti non lo rammento. Alcuni PPPND (Primissimo PPiano Nitido Dettagliato) molto buoniVoto: 80Il comparto audio è un Dolby Digital 5.1 con un buon mixaggio. Livello buono, sono restato ai miei classici -20 db. Dinamica scarsetta. Dialoghi discreti, manca una buona corposità. I canali surround sono la parte più prestante, non tanto per esplosioni o sparatorie ma come ambienza; in alcuni momenti si ascoltano dei particolari che sembrano provenire da una zona non precisata, fuori dal film. Basse frequenze in letargo. Not one of Argento's best films but its still a watchable film - better than his later effort GIALLO which he has disownedHis daughter Asia makes her starring debut later to be excellent in THE STENDAHL SYNDROME.A good film but Tom Savini has done better with his SFX

A falta de contenido extra la edición cumple en el todos sus aspectos incluyendo además escenas del montaje original (con audio italiano y subtitulado al castellano). La imagen nítida y buena y el sonido 2.0 regular siendo mejor en su versión original que en su televisivo doblaje castellano, ya que esta película nunca llegó a estrenarse en nuestro país ni siquiera en formato doméstico.
