Awesome!!!
When i saw this available I was ecstatic, I mean there are so few of my old Saturday morning cartoons out there for purchase, the one's i liked anyway. So when I saw it I was excited and that excitement stayed with me. I mean I was actually expected to be let down a little because it usually seems like the things i liked as a child can't stand up my idea of what it used to be. The day it arrived I unwrapped it and put the first DVD in my player and instantly I was transported back to "my 80's". I was taken back so well that I actually got a bowl of cereal and wrapped myself in a blanket on the couch just to watch. I think my room mate and his girlfriend was most surprised when they came into the room to see a 37 year old guy sitting on the couch on his knees wrapped in a blanket with a bowl of cap'n crunch and a smile from ear to ear watching cartoons. hehe The DVD packaging was as expected and exactly what you see here, the picture quality and sound was good though the aspect ratio is standard 4:3 so expanding it to fit your wide screen tv either stretches it or cuts off a portion of the video. So if you can get past that I fully recommend this wonderful piece of 80's memorabilia.

Great 80's cartoon, but is either underrated, or not as well known!!!!!
I bought this box set a while ago and it's still in my collection. This 13 episode series is about 2 teens from Earth, who were chosen. To enroll in the totally far out Galaxy High School, which is located far away from Earth. In another galaxy so after they arrive at their destination. Aimee the smart yet cute nerd girl, and Doyle the talented yet cocky jock. Were in for a surprise , Aimee for her astonishingly high grades. And good attendance gets rewarded, with a full scholarship and an interstellar spacecar .And unfortunately for Doyle for his low grades, he has to get a job at the local pizzaria/ cafeteria. To pay his tuition, and if that, wasn't bad enough he gets into trouble. With the school bullies Beef and the Bonk Bunch. If your an 80's kid like me you should definitely get this boxset. And add it to you collection!!!!!

Haven't Seen This Since I was A Kid
I was looking all over for this cartoon in particular and I have it now! I tried ordering it for a local video store and they couldn't. So I looked on here and found it. This cartoon brings back so many childhood memories. I never knew that they had a part two. So I had to get the Collection. I love it! I can't wait to show my sister when she comes down to visit this summer.

I enjoyed watchin this series again. I watched it when it use to come on CBS in the 80's. My son enjoyed it too. So happy to have this series. I felt like a kid again. The characters in the cartoon series is cool, can't forget them. I love it, I love it as one of the characters would say. It's a cool cartoon series.

Retro thrills
This takes me back. I remember watching this, Saturday mornings, around 35 or so years ago. Back in the days when the world just seemed like a safer (and more innocent) place to live. Halcyon memories, all.

Great '80s cartoon series, hampered by a poor DVD release
Galaxy High was a short-lived saturday morning cartoon series from Chris Columbus (Gremlins, The Goonies) that followed two Earth teens who are chosen to attend high school in outer space. The series was memorable for its groovy theme song, wild array of settings, great voice cast and a wacky assortment of alien creatures. This 2-disc collection features all 13 episodes of the beloved series, which while it's animation is not the best, has maintained a loyal cult following since its premiere on CBS in 1986. While I'm sure those fans will be delighted to finally have the series on DVD, unfortunately this release is a disappointment. The episodes have not been remastered (in fact they barely look better than my old VHS copies of the shows), the cover art is just plain incorrectly weird and episodes appear out of order on the first disc. I'm sad to report that there are no special features either. For the record I love this show and would probably rate it a 4/5 or even 5/5. It's imaginative, retro '80s coolness fun and above all entertaining. As it stands, I think that I'm being pretty generous rating the DVD release of the series a 3/5. Fans of the series will no doubt want to pick this set up as it's probably all we're gonna get and pretty affordable. Recommended for the pure entertainment value of the series alone.

A great cult TV show and must have.
I remember seeing this series briefly as a teenager and loved the characters. Note that Susan Blu (Arcee - Transformers) does the voice of Amiee and the high school bully is voiced by John Stephenson (Kup et al - Transformers). A brilliant series and must have for cult TV fans. Also has some great morals for younger viewers. A note for UK buyers that this DVD set is Region 1 so unless your DVD player is multi region or can be reset you may have a problem with watching. I did at first. You can as I have watch it using your computer's media player which will definitely switch regions e.g. windows media player.

Ahh... Memories!!
This is one of those cartoons that takes me back! It brought back some fantastic memories of when I watched this originally when I must have been just 7 or 8. After buying this I was surprised to find out on 13 episodes were ever made, but at such a low price for all of them it's well worth it. The music in this series was fantastic too... Cheesey electronic 80's pop/dance, but still great non the less.

Back to my childhood!
Great quality and the kids enjoy watching it. only bad point is I can only play it on one DVD as it only plays on a certain region. I thought it might of played on them all
