Aquaria Food Color Enhancing Goldfish Flakes, 4.41 Oz

We have owned our two goldfish for about 4 years. We got our goldfish at the LA Fair. My cute little kids won a difficult prize by tossing the ball at just the right location. It is rare that the prize fish survive, but ours are doing great. I usually buy the large size and it lasts a year or longer. I like this size because it still lasts a long time and stays a bit fresher. The smaller size costs 1/2 of the large size that is twice as big. It is hardy food that makes the water less brown than other food. Our fish have lived a long time so it seems to be good food.

Love this product ! But last shipment when I ordered two of them one was missing it’s lid and the foil seal broke and I received it open with flakes all over the box! Very annoyed. How was it sent without a lid?

I like the product, but Very small container for the price charged. And it arrived with no lid!! After removing foil top, had to pour into ziplock baggie (only needed a very small sandwich bag, of course, for the few flakes).

These flakes are not your typical flake food. The have a denser consistency. If your fish are smaller you may need to crumble them a bit. But when the fish get bigger, they can be sprinkled without crumbling. They don't appear to make the water get cloudy too fast. My fish love them and seem to be bright and healthy. I not thrilled that the first ingredient is rice but there seems to be plenty of other fishy ingredients to make it a more natural food. I would recommend these and will be buying more when I run out.

Thought this deal was too good to be true. Paid more than retail plus shipping to get one container.. was advertised as a six pack.Emailed seller and they blamed it on their 'advertiser' and offered to send a return label and refund. Ate the cost to save the hassle. Will not buy from again.The food itself is great though, only thing my fish seem to love!

The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because it's not the fish food's fault that the product is advertised wrong. I bought this about a month ago and they still have not updated the description to say that this is ONE container. I contacted the seller who one person said to return the item, the other said they'd return the cost. Buyers beware, it's not the awesome deal that you'd think it is.

Even though the Marineland Goldfish Flakes are flakes, they are not as brittle as the other brand of flakes. They don't crumble in to a pile of fine grains at the bottom of the can. They are distinctive round flakes that retain their shape, stay afloat, don't cloud the water, and color my fish. Yes, they color my fish. One of them turned white with the last flakes I fed them and is now finally starting to turn orange again.My fish like these flakes, which is important, because the pellets I fed them before didn't agree with them to the point they'd rather starve to death -- literally.My fish like them, which means I like them. It's a winner.
