Very good
I have very sensitive skin, usually I can not tolerate sunscreen (only minerals like this one) but this is really gentle on the skin, the only con is a little bit of eye burn sensation but it is just for a couple of minutes and then it's gone

This is not the most impressive lotion
I liked the fact the protection number was a 40 but the lotion is thin and runny. It also is very gritty feeling on application. The grittiness goes away but it is still an ick factor. I will use the product for the summer until it’s gone but won’t reorder.

Gritty texture, ineffective sun protection
Since I have started using more actives/acid exfoliates in my skincare routine, I have been trying to be better about sun protection. Chemical sunscreens don’t play well with my oily, more sensitive skin. They tend to irritate and make my face feel flushed and warm. So I was on the hunt for a new physical filter sunscreen, since the one I previously used seems to have been discontinued. This Aveeno one was NOT it. It has a gritty texture, like little grains of sand, so I had to apply it delicately to keep from scratching up my face. After a few moments, the grittiness seems to go away, strangely enough, and it seemed to absorb and dry down relatively smooth and matte. However, I could still definitely feel that I was wearing sunscreen.Enter my trip to FL. I live in the southwest, so I am used to a lot of sun normally, but I do tend to stay indoors. So a Disney World trip where I would be outside for most of the day, in the sun, for several days was the big test and this sunscreen failed spectacularly. I got a sunburn early in the day, so not too long after application, on the first day of the trip. I got some aloe vera gel to help calm and soothe my skin, but I was fairly miserable the rest of the trip.I think I’ll stick to Korean sunscreens from now on. There is just more transparency and regulation when it comes to the actual stated levels of sun protection.

Best stuff!
This is the best physical sunscreen I have found (and I have tried a lot) It’s just as good as Clarins but way cheaper. Doesn’t streak or leave a white cast like CereVe (which is not the streakiest, but this is still better). It’s so cheap I bought more and leave one in my car, one in my make up bag, and one by the sink. Love!

Such a lovely texture
I love love love this face sunscreen. I've tried so many and this is by FAR my favorite. The texture is so nice a light, not oily AT ALL, but doesn't make my face feel dry even with super low humidity. I have medium caucasian skin and when blended in to my skin well, there is a very slight lightness to it that I can see but I've asked friends and they say they don't see it. It feels so great to not have to be putting chemical sunscreens on my skin in such a wonderful formula! Love this stuff!

Stings my eyes and looks pasty
I'm not a fan of this sunscreen at all. First of all, even though I was under the impression it was mostly (if not all) mineral SPF, it still stung my eyes a little bit and the runny watery consistency made it worse. And every time I use it it makes my skin look super dry and flaky, even though I'm super moisturized before (from moisturizing with CeraVe 2x a day and putting on a hyaluronic acid serum at night and the SPF at home being a moisturizing one). It could be that it doesn't play nice with the first SPF I use and have been keeping at home before leaving for work (was going to use this one to keep at work because the one at home I like but also makes my eyes sting, and like I said I was under the impression this one wouldn't because it's marketed as a mineral SPF). The white cast is pretty apparent under fluorescent lighting, and I already am pretty pale.I don't recommend this sunscreen at all. If your skin is normal to dry, I can guarantee you won't be a fan of it because it'll most likely dry you out or look gross and flaky (for reference I have relatively normal skin). If you're already pretty fair and have an oily complexion, you might find it just okay as it could possibly be matifying for you. But darker complexions or dry/normal skin types will definitely want to steer clear of this!

slight white cast
im a medium skin tone about NC42 in MAC. this gives a slight white cast but putting just a powder foundation over it would help. but cannot wear it on its own due to the cast.

Terrible formulation and could have alr expired!
First of all, the formulation stings my face, the first time i encountered from a physical sunblock.Second, not only does it leave a white cast, which i can accept for all physical sunblock, this leaves a super ugly non-uniform white cast. Streaks were seen on the face after a while. Upon touching, the film was also grainy. Thinking that i probably did not apply properly, i tried to rub in the streaks, and that causes my face to sting again! So, nope, look elsewhere if u need a good physical sunblock, this one doesnt cut it<Update>Upon closer inspection today, i realised this seller may have sold me an expired sunblock! Coz this was manufactured in 2019 and shelf life of sunblocks are normally just 3 years! Now is 2023, 4 yrs has elapsed!!
