Ted Gibson Daily Cleanse Shampoo, 11.2 ounces

A few months ago, I received the product as a gift and loved it. I was thrilled to find it on Amazon. Unfortunately, the product I received from Amazon is thin, watery and has a less pronounced scent. I now use double the volume for my hair to not feel or smell as good. Either it's a knockoff or the product has changed from just six months ago. Would not buy again.Update 7/4/14:I tried it again. It was better than the thin shampoo I got the second time but not as good as the first time. I guess it's just inconsistent.

I really give it 0 stars...It arrived with a defective top and shampoo all over the inside of the shrink wrapped packaging. It is the consistency of water, with no smell, no lather. It is as though I am shampooing with water. My hair is a mess. I assume because it is not clean. I am furious at all of the hype and such a poor product. I have never given a bad review before. I couldn't let this one slide.

I think spending a lot on products is pretty crazy, but this shampoo and conditioner keep me coming back for more. The smell is fantastic and it takes my colored hair and smoothes it very nicely without being weighted down. The reviewer that mentioned the number one ingredient as water hasn't looked at many bottles. All of your lotions, conditioners, shampoos, etc....the first ingredient is always water. Guess what the first ingredient listed in a person would be - yes we are 2/3 water.Anyway, this is a rich, concentrated shampoo - you need less than if you use Suave or something similar. If you want to give your hair a treat, try Ted Gibson's hair products.

The shampoo smelled great, but it was so watery I had trouble keeping it from running between my fingers. Once I got it on my hair it really doesn't clean well, I now have to wash my hair in sections, with a handful of twenty dollar shampoo per area. It'll be a while before I live this purchase down with my husband. :)

I really like this shampoo. I feel like it leaves my hair light and shiny. The only thing that perplexes me is that the shampoo was thick and not bubbly the first time I bought it on Amazon. The second time I bought it on Amazon it was really thin and more bubbly. It seems like there might be some quality control issues, or the shampoo is sitting too long before sale. I still plan to use this shampoo b/c I think it is high quality. I'm just a bit intrigued by how thick and bubbly it will be the next time I get it. The only other downside of this shampoo is that I do find that it takes two washes to get my hair clean. Because of this, it runs out more quickly. My hair falls just below my shoulder and tends to get oily half-way through the day after washing.

I bought this shampoo because I read so many great reviews about it. I don't like it. Since I've started using it, my hair seems more dry (granted, it's summer and humid, but I'm not typically prone to the frizzies). It doesn't suds. I've been told that's because it doesn't contain sulfates. Sorry, maybe I'm being non-scientific here, but I like suds when I shampoo my hair. I don't feel clean otherwise. My hair dresser says my hair doesn't look as healthy as it did before I started using it. I won't buy this product again.

Ordered previously for $20.00 a bottle and it was fine.Current order was $35.00 for a bottle and definitely wasn't the same product. The consistence was runny. Terrible value

Perfect for dry, aging hair. Leaves it squeaky clean and easy to style. The fragrance is pleasing and consistency excellent.
