Great net, in todays common retail disappointments, these guys are a proven exception.
First, this net is built well and works well. Original purchase was June, 2017 with a lifetime warranty. Over time, 6+years of regular use, the netting developed a few holes. I contacted Fibropool by email and described the problem and inquired what the replacement procedure would entail. Received an immediate response from the friendly staff asking for my Amazon order number. Responded with same and received a request for my address. Responded with same and was surprised a few days later with the delivery of a complete new net! Impressive, thank youYou can have confidence with your purchase from Fibropool.

I'm definitely impressed by both the price and quality
There are many more reviews on the 18" FibroPRO than on this one, so I was hesitant to purchase the larger one, but I'm glad I did.I was concerned that this 24" behemoth might be too big and unwieldy to handle, but not at all. It is no more cumbersome than the average 18" net, yet the capacity is much greater and the extra width is a blessing. I often blow my yard debris into the pool and then skim it out. Having an extra 6" of width makes the skimming much faster. It's also great for grabbing those long palm frond strings that tend to quickly overwhelm smaller nets. The dimensions of the opening at its widest points are 22.25" x 10.75".Construction-wise, this net can hold it's own against any I've used. The aluminum frame is sturdy and strong. The mesh seems to be very well double stitched. The additional protective mesh layer seems to be causing some confusion, but it works something like this: the net itself is very soft and malleable - not like the window screen style mesh that some other nets use. It is more like soft nylon that ball/equipment storage bags are made of. On pools like mine that have lots of rock landscaping and Pebble Tec, the soft net would be prone to snagging on things, so there is a protective half net partially attached to the front. This protective net has roughly 2" of stronger screen-like gusseting near the leading edge of the leaf rake, then the rest is a larger-holed mesh that is only attached on the sides. Kind of like an apron. It has no functional value other than to protect the rest of the net. It is not sewn together on the bottom, so cleaning out anything trapped between the layers is never a problem. Really quite an ingenious design.I can't yet comment on the long-term durability of this purchase. I live in Las Vegas where the sun pretty much destroys everything. I keep my brushes and vacuums in a shed, but my nets generally hang on a shaded wall outside. So we'll see how it holds up over time.

A great heavy duty leaf rake.
Very good leaf rake that holds a lot of leaves. I had lots of leaves on the cover of my pool after 2 years of not opening my pool, and had to scoop them out and needed a heavy duty leaf scoop. This worked great. The only problem was that it held way more that I could lift. I had to keep emptying out over half the bag so that I could lift it over the pool because it was too heavy for me. This was not the bag's fault in any way, as it was more than capable of handling the weight, I was just not strong enough to heft it over the side. Wet leaves weigh a lot more than you think. This has held up to the task and then some. I would highly recommend. Water flows through the bag well now that the pool is open and makes it easy to get any leaves that are in the water.

Great net, small problem.
Love this net! When my pools get insanely full of leaves there is nothing that will clean the pool quicker! The 17.5 inch nets took FOREVER. this one is no time at all! It is a bit harder to move but thats understood from the increase of drag from the size of the net. Only one thing I would change. The material of the net is easily ripped so switch to the window screen type material... and decrease the spacing in between strands as it allows very fine particles of debris to go through it. Of course this will increase drag again. But wow. I love this net!! If your pool is ALWAYS full of leaves, this should be your first choice!

Buy it. Best pool leaf net ever!
The few negative reviews on this almost made me not buy it but I am so glad I tried it. I wish I knew about this leaf catcher 20 years ago it can hold so much more. I've been trying to do it with a flat one for years which was easy on top but very hard down deep. I got about 10 bags of leaves of this size which is WAY more than my Polaris can collect spending hours and hours in the pool. finally to those people who thought the net was not properly sewn together notice in my pictures if you just turn it inside out it will now catch the leaves just fine. it needs to have one part not sewn together so that the leaves that fall into the middle can easily come out later when you're dumping them in case they got between the two layers of mesh. so it is by design not faulty manufacturing that a part of the netting is not sewn together. Also notice when you turn it over one way the lip more easily scoops up leaves than the other side by the angle of the lip. see my pictures (the last one is my old net with a hole for comparison)

Excellent, but not for widows or orphans
My husband loves this, but it's heavy and takes a lot of strength to pull. The rest of the comments are his:This is an excellent net. We are men of action! The reason it's hard to pull through the water is the mesh has small holes, which is exactly what you want to pick up the small bits. The frame is sturdy which adds some weight, so you'll want a heavy duty pole if you don't have one already. The net stiffness is great and keeps it from releasing what you just picked up when you reverse directions. The net holds a lot which means less trips to empty it, but yes adds weight when full. This is a great net for a good price, and as a bonus it builds up your arm and shoulder muscles!
