HYSKORE10 Gun Rack & Shelf Unit

It's Not Perfect, But....
It's not perfect, but it is a good value for the money. The spacing is too close for anything but slick-sided rifles and shotguns. If you have a bolt leaving it open can help. Optimally it's best just to skip a space if you can. So in reality this ten gun rack only handles 5-7 guns comfortably. What it really has going for it is a good basic functional design that's not being made by any other company. If another company came along using this design with larger spacing at the same price then the Hyskore rack would probably melt into oblivion. But considering that it's been around for many years and no one seems to be challenging them it appears their place in the market is safe. The Hyskore rack is currently being sold somewhere between $25-$30 dollars. In my opinion the quality justifies a price point around twenty bucks. (Maybe use credit card points to get the price down?) I think where this rack shines is the ability to use it in your own carpentry master-piece. For the price of three 2x4s and a wood plank you can make a sufficient floor storage rack that looks pretty decent. (See Pictures)

Good for the price with some changes
So this is the review on this! I have read all reviews and now ordered and received rack. The rack look good and is well made. I don't see any major welding issues with rack. The issue I have is was missing one main bolt to assemble the rack and this will not fit 10 guns! I would say 5-6 depends on gun. I have a lot and tried ar, ak, hunting guns and M1A1 and other older WW2 firearms.! Plan on about 6 or so. Also based on other reviews plan on missing bolts. Remember this is a basic 25-35 rack so not expensive. So, I'll go to hardware store and get bolt no problem. This will work for my gun vault set up so i am good with it and like the fact I can put parts and other stuff for the firearms on racks. I want to order more but since I ordered this 2 days ago it has increased 10$ so for that I think it's over priced but 25$ it's solid rack if you plan to grab bolts. They come down I plan to order 10 more for section of hunting gun so I can put chokes andOther gear for those certain guns on racks. Hope this review helps. Also, if u drill into stuff or use 75 lb drywall ankles and I would drill out rack hole and use bolt with nut( the frame has threads now and u screw bolt into it) you could put decide Amout of weight on it!

Will be buying another
Gave 4 stars because unless u are stacking small rifles in it it does not hold 10 firearms. Mine held about 8 and that was with some of the foam cutouts being pushed to the side to accomadate bigger barrels. My 12 gauge had to be forced into the cutout and that made less room for the next firearm and so on but ultimately it made alot of room in my gun room and got alot of the firearms out of a pile in the corner, I used a drill bit to make the pilot hole and the screw heads still stripped out as well and I had to get better ones from the store but I am buying another so it is that good at its job.

Affordable and gets the job done
We don't have any kids in the house yet, so although I really wanted a gun safe, this was a MUCH more affordable alternative. It keeps all my rifles/shotguns organized and won't scratch the finish. It also has two small shelves where you can store ammo, mags, even pistols.Other reviews mentioned that the pieces were damaged upon arrival - I didn't have that issue. Mine showed up just fine. There were no instructions for assembly, but it's VERY simple to assemble. Now I have a place to safely store my firearms, and they're readily accessible if I ever need them. This item is well worth the money in my book!It was easy to install and is very sturdy, especially if you install in the studs.

The quality of this gun rack is lower than I expected. The foam holder for the gun barrels fell out during assembly and we will have to put super glue or something on it to help it stay on. There is a mark on the metal that looks like a sticker was on it and ripped off, we are thinking maybe it was a display or something. We looked for a sticker that may have fallen off but can't find it and can't figure out the sticky mark on the metal shelf. Also the width of it is not the width of studs, so not sure on how it will be study enough to stay in the wall. We will probably mount it on a board and then mount it to the wall.I also tried to cancel this order on amazon immediately after I placed it because I wasn't sure if the shipping was correct. I ended up placing a new order. I received both orders the same day, I guess requests for cancellations aren't received fast enough. So now I have to pay for shipping it back. Not impressed. But my husband will make it work.

Surprisingly well finished.
I ordered this to see how it will work for my needs. The item arrived in 2 days. The item was packed unwrapped in the box. The package box was boxed within an Amazon box. The unit was intact, no scratches. Everything fitted like it should. Took 15 to 20 minutes to assemble. There is very little separation between the foam slots for the guns. If you have have any width to the gun, you may be able to use only every other slots. I will order another one to accommodate my wider guns. As little as it costs, that won’t be a big deal.

Cheap, but unfortunetly the only product of its kind.
A real piece of you know what, but it was the only product of it's kind that I could find. It arrived pretty scratched up (see photo), and several nuts and bolt very loosely sliding around in the box. I started to assemble it, and almost immediately noticed that the threads needed chasing. So I did it by hand so as not to ruin the whole thing.I will be mounting this in a closet, so the design is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Also the fact that it is scratched and has some areas of rust color oxidation (yes already rusting) will not be so bad. I would like to have a second one, but the price is just too high. I could see spending $15 bucks for this, or maybe $20 including shipping, but $30 is simply too much for what you get. Therefore this will be my only purchase. With the pictures I'm attaching to this review, everyone should know EXACTLY what they will be getting.
