It was great for travel
It was great for travel. My son is 7 and it was the perfect height (in terms of handle length when rolling) with room to grow. On his back it wasn't too big either. Some mentioned lack of space because the "legs" of the robot are internal (hard to visualize if you haven't seen it), but we didn't find this to be problematic. Again, we only use this for travel, but perhaps using it daily as a backpack, this would be an issue. I don't think it would hold up more than a year as an everyday bag, but for our sporadic occasions, it's just right! And looks awesome!!

oddly shaped interior
My son loves this. But, it's really wierdly shaped because of the space in between r2d2's 2 legs. The inside of the backpack has the 2 bottom areas of r2d2's feet separated by the crotch area. So there is no level "bottom" area of the backpack to rest papers, folders, etc. Everything ends up tilting and it's a mess in there... definitely a fun backpack but not a practical one.

Super cute little backpack
Super cute little backpack, but whomever designed it did not think that it should be functional. They have sewn the fabric up into the middle across the bottom, to reflect how R2's wheels go up under his body. It is sewn all the way across the bottom of the backpack, so that it is hard to get a regular folder to fit. If you look inside, it looks very strange to see that hump of fabric going from front to back - and the small canyons it creates on either side. So totally unnecessary. The handle and wheels will also not last long - not terribly sturdy.

Very disappointed.
Like the other reviewer, there is an awkward design which limits the ability to put books in the bag. Notwithstanding, it is cute on the outside. However, it is now 8 weeks into the school year and the part that connects the wheels to the bag has already detached at the bottom. Not sturdy at all!I would not recommend this bag.

It is not as what we expected, the front ...
It is not as what we expected, the front pocket very small that my kid can't fits his lunch box and water tumbler together. Also the Handel doesn't have a look, if we just pull it, it will go all the way to the top. The gap between the wheels and the ground is very small, so the kid needs to pull it with an angle close or more than 45 Dgrees in order not to touch the ground.

Good looks, poor build quality, kids still love it though
Looks great and my son was super excited to get it. The print on the outside looks good and the fabric is decent quality. The build quality is lacking. The wheels, base, handle is low quality hardware. Ours doesn't even stand properly because the legs are not level so it falls forward. It looks like the wheel and handle hardware was just slapped on a backpack. Like others mentioned the R2D2 crotch design is unnecessary. It takes away from usable space inside. My sons folder fits so it's ok for us. Some strings are already sticking out. I'm guessing it's not going to last very long.

Cute packpack.
My kid picked this out and loves it! He's in kindergarten and wants a rolling backpack. Heads up, the inside has an uneven bottom (upside down U shape) but it doesn't affect the books or folders.

cute, but small
Smaller inside then I taught, because they bring the feet up in the middle inside the bag. Barely fit my sons books and lunch bag.
