Works fine, however surprisingly loud
This is a fine little powerhead, the suction cup sticks firmly to clean glass and the motor produces significant water flow. In a ten gallon tank, this pump will be too strong for any long finned, slow moving fish. Fast water fish will love it. The only drawback I have experienced is that it is very loud, for it's size. I wouldn't recommend it for an aquarium in anyone's bedroom, it's just too loud.

Good for mixing salt, but wouldn't put it in my tank
I bought this circulation pump just to mix my salt water. It's not super powerful and the head comes off of the suction cup easily.I wouldn't put this into a tank, but it's perfect for mixing water. Cheap and efficient.

Awesome compact power
Very powerful. Would work well for 20g. Using for cross flow against power filter in high flow saltwater nano 5g. My gorgonians love it. Had to use a bit of foam to restrict the flow. Awesome deal for the price!

It's ok
If worked great for a couple months, but it is cheap foe a reason. I ended up buying one that has a control and a better material l.

Can injure certain fish
I have 2 of these wavemakers and they work well and are a good value. However, there is one problem I want to warn other people about. Sometimes the wavemaker has a reduced outflow due to needing cleaning and a certain size of strong, curious fish can actually succeed in swimming INTO the front of the machine while it is running. And be injured. I lost 2 fish this way and 2 others were injured before I figured out what was happening. In 3 cases - small size cories succeeded in getting in and in 1 case - a large harlequin rasbora got in. I lost one cory and the rasbora. There are only 3 large partitions on the outflow grill of this wavemaker. That is a problem for some fish.

Not ideal for small fish
It has good power but will occasionally fall of the glass. I would not recommend this in a tank with little fish. It will suck them up and shoot them across the tank like it did to my little clownfish

Good wave option
These are a great option to give your fish a current in the water. I wish the cord was a little bit longer. I have my 45 gallon tall tank directly over an outlet and I can only get enough cord to get the item about half way down in the tanks. It moves a lot of water and keeps debris blowing to my filter suction.

Great, But not for a 14 gallon
Way too strong for a 14 gallon cube. This would be better for a tank that's longer not tall. I ended up returning it.

I have purchased 3 of these!
These are very inexpensive functional additions to my tanks. They really help circulate water and waste that collects on the bottom. I have 2 in my 140 gallon turtle tank, and 1 in my 70 gallon community tank. So far, they have been A+++ running 24-7 for a few months.

Poca potencia
