OrolayWomen Warm Down Jacket with Hood Fur Long Puffer Coat

The media could not be loaded.  I wanted the longest, warmest down coat I could find in a vibrant color…not black, navy, gray, or dark olive. I don’t look good in dark colors. They wash me out. I couldn’t get my photos to add, but I just got my Fruit Green coat and it is beautiful! It looks like an olive green in the dim light of my apartment, but a brighter yellow green outdoors, in the sun. I love the brighter shade I see in better light! Fortunately, green is the only color I can wear most shades of. That’s why I bought it, even though I was not sure of the shade, based on photos. I am 202 pounds, 5’7” and 36F. I started out buying XXL. because I usually wear an XL or 0X-1X coat and wanted room for layers. The XXL was too big in the waist. The coat has an elastic section in the rear waist. It looked really funny, with that being baggy. I wasn’t sure if the coat was as thick as I need for the Upper Midwest U.S.. I read reviews saying it fluffs up thicker, after a few days, but I still don’t know that it would keep me warm in -30 F to -50F temps. I found a thin, packable puffer in close to the same color and had ordered it to wear underneath. Base layer puffers are more expensive and some research told me they are, basically, the same thing. I wanted one of the “thickened” coats, but this is more my style, so that was my solution. I was saddened to find that the XL was sold out. Only the Large had ONE left. Surprisingly, it matched my measurements, almost exactly, on the size chart. It came today. It fits like it does on the model, but does not give me her backside. Lol. It still looks good, with a little less junk in the trunk. I don’t think it has room for the packable puffer I bought to go under it, so I will have to see how much cold it can handle. Based on my experience with other coats of this heft, I have already ordered a 750 fill down coat, as well. I think this will be good for wearing dresses under and still keeping heat close to my body, since it’s fairly form-fitting on me. It’s quite flattering, when the snaps are done up, which is rare (for a puffer coat). I can still move comfortably and move my arms freely, which is very important. I had a neck injury that caused degenerative disc disease and dystonia, so coats that are too small in the shoulders are painful! This has room and does not look too boxy, like some that are bigger in the shoulders. However, it could be This will make a nice coat for dressing up and I will also have my “sleeping bag” coat, for when warmth is all that matters. Update: I returned the XXL for a Large and it does fit perfectly! The packable thin down puffer does fit under it, making it an extremely warm coat, altogether. My puffer ran 2 sizes small, so it’s kinda funny…I’m wearing a 4X liner under a Women’s Large coat and it fits perfectly!

5'7" 168lbs, bought an XL and it's perfect with room for bulk underneath. I think I would have been just fine with a L, though. This coat is so high quality, in my opinion. It just feels so great to the touch. I can't explain it other than it feels super high quality. Once you take it out of the package it fluffs up over a few hours. I work in Chicago so I walk from my train to my building and I think most people know how cold Chicago can be. This coat is wonderful and so warm. The fur-lined hood really blocks the wind from my face and is extra roomy on my head, so wearing a bulky beanie underneath is easy. This coat outshines my North Face in every single way... Quality, roominess, thickness, hood size and attachment (my North Face has a small hood with weak ass snaps that would ALWAYS come detached). I plan on buying the shorter Orolay coat next for days when this one isn't needed. I am now and Orolay fan for life and my North Face coats are getting donated. I'm serious.... BUY THIS COAT!!!!!

This coat gets lots of compliments and is warm enough when it is over 30 degrees. The front buttons add style, the zippers are strong and there is nice extra insulation in the cuff of the sleeves. It will show more dirt then a black coat and it says it is dry clean only. It lacks a phone pocket, so after I bought it I had one added (see photo). I purchased size M which lets me wear a big hoodie underneath. I'm 110 pounds and 5.5". I've worn this coat daily for 2 months on long winter walks. It is a good quality coat. If they made it a little warmer and added inside phone pocket it would get 5 stars. Regardless, I love it and would buy it again.

I am 5'6" tall, around 220-230 lbs, with most of my weight in my hips and backside, and the 2xl fits me perfectly. I have shorter arms with thick upper arms, and the sleeve length is perfect with just the right amount of room for my upper arms without being bulky. The zipper can be a little tricky, but once zipped stays in place. And the coat is flattering whether you zip it up or not. The length of the coat hits below my knees at the top of my calf. I am a courier for a major food delivery service and needed a warm coat to work in that wasn't bulky but would also allow me to layer a sweater or hoodie underneath. And this one delivers! (Lame pun intended). The hood is big on me, but I have a very small head. The faux fur is nice though and soft to the touch. This coat is so warm that when I am working in 30°F weather, I sweat if I have a heavy hoodie on as well. All in all, great buy for cold winter weather!!

Living in Canada and temperatures can get to -19C or lower (happened this week) you need a warm comfortable coat. This warm jacket fits the bill perfectly. Quality manufactured and excellent price. This is my 2nd winter jacket purchase. This one is longer than my first but I was so happy with the 1st purchase that I decided to go the longer length for my morning walks with my dog. Just purchased a male knee length jacket for my husband's birthday. He was delighted and after wearing it, commented now I know why you purchased another one. Top marks to Orolay - highly recommend.

Me encanta!!! es justo lo que quería un abrigo largo, negro, calentito, elegante pero informal, con puños debajo de las mangas, con pelito en la capucha... Sólo una pequeña pega pero que no es nada.. si le hubiesen puesto algún bolsillo en la parte interior ya sería lo más.

Questo piumino tiene bene al caldo, grazie anche alla lunghezza e ad un cappuccio che copre veramente bene, a differenza di altri piumini in cui il cappuccio ha un ruolo quasi puramente estetico.Il colore è molto bello, le tasche hanno cerniere di qualità. Io ho preso una xs, ero indecisa se prendere una s, dato che d'inverno spesso porto maglioni o capi molto spessi, ma l'xs è risultato adatto, quindi il piumino è già stato progettato tenendo conto di queste potenziali necessità.È anche facile da lavare tranquillamente a casa, a mano o in lavatrice a basse temperature ( sarebbe meglio 0 gradi) e modalità lana o delicati. La facilità di lavaggio per me è fondamentale perché ho un cane, e quindi quando esco con lei, se è piovuto o nevicato, è un attimo che mi sporchi, e in secondo luogo, perché ho scelto il bianco che come si sa è un colore che "si sporca guardandolo".È arrivato in una sacca molto pratica, in cui è possibile riporlo per esempio nel cambio stagione.Sono molto contenta, mi sembra di buona fattura.. Ho visto che anche gli altri colori sono molto belli e sto valutando di prenderne un altro per una persona a me molto cara (e molto freddolosa), ma di un altro colore.

I bought this coat on the basis of the positive reviews from other buyers, I really does live up to the reviews of being a well made sylish warm coat, well worth the money. I originally bought an XL and it was too big for me (size 14 5ft 6) I usually size up with coats but there was too much room even with a thick jumper underneath, so I went for a large and its perfect, still room to breath but looks nice and fitted and you can sit down fully zipped up and not suffcate underneath. Love the clour too.
