This is so pretty to hang over a chair or sofa. If you use it too cover, if yóu use it to cover and keep warm, it will do that too! Lots of versitility.

EDIT: Just bought like 2 more. I'm pretty sure, I won't take this off of me for a long time.Imagine having 100's of freshly bathed kittens laying on you sleeping. Then you'll know just how soft this blanket is. It's 100% polyester, and made in China, but it's perfectly what I was looking for, which is a blanket that's cheap enough, that I can just use without worrying about it. Everything else is a bonus.Unlike microfiber, this is softer. It's not thin either. It's got a decent weight and thickness to it. But not overbearing.The pattern and the color really do make you feel cozy, where you just want to cuddle up in it and never get out of it. A brief thought did drifted in my head to actually make a onesie out of this material, and wear it to work.The first thing I've noticed was that the dog wanted to cuddle in it. My dog hates blankets, but I had to fight him off of it. Then the cat is now laying on it and I'm pretty sure I have to buy another just to keep it as mine.I ordered the middle size, 66x90, which covers me plenty - 5'11, big shoulders.If they make a duvet cover out of this materials, I would probably buy it. This outside, feather down comforter inside. That must be what not caring about getting fired because you slept in for 2 weeks in a roll feels like.Only if they can make this less static, it would be perfect.

Within a couple of years, I have purchased seven throw blankets before this one. I haven't left reviews for them, but they are okay. Some I like more than others, and may leave a review for some of them. I have been searching for the right throw for YEARS, and I've finally found it. I'm not a fan of fringes so I look for the ones without. I feel that they would be in the way and be irritating. I knew immediately upon removing it out of the box that this was the one. It was super soft-right-out-the-box. I immediately washed it and used Downy for fragrance rather than for softness. The colors are more vivid in person, not bright but rich. The 66 x 90 size is just perfect for me as I am somewhat of a tall woman. This blanket is for the sofa only, I have one that I use for the bed from the same company that's nice, sheds a little but not bad. It is very lightweight yet warm. It's easy to fold down which makes it perfect for travel. I personally think it could be used all year long. It is 100% polyester but doesn't feel like other polyester blankets. It is very soft and feels much better than other polyesters. I can't say enough good things about it. I hope it lasts for years, cause right now my search is over. Highly recommend.

I wish there were other color options,.. this blanket is absolutely amazing,., so much that I’m trying to dig thru the listing to find any material information that could help me find a blanket just as good bc I want other colors,. We love, love, love this blanket! It is the softest blanket we have and the size is perfect for my husband who is 6'2". We use this blanket every day.

I'm in love with Tache blankets. I have one of the polar fur ones and it's so pretty on my bed and still washes good. I've had it for 2.5 years and I'm still in love with it! This one I just got for my living room couch and it's not as thick but it's still warm, big and super soft. You can't go wrong with these in my opinion. Just pick your color.*May 5th 2018- I still have the this plaid blanket, it's now moved into a bedroom on a full sized bed. Just as soft and no issues. The polar fur throw I finally let go because it was no longer soft(too many washings over the years). But I bought one to replace it a year ago and it's already not soft, The Tache brand is overall good, especially compared to other more affordable ones.

I have bought many blankets throughout my life and this is by far the BEST one! This is definitely going to keep me warm during the fall and all of the cold weather it has to offer.
