Great 10 watt air pump but buy a set of spare diaphragms with pump.
The media could not be loaded. Great 10 watt airpump. I bought it in Spring 2001 and put it to use in January 2022. I had it in use for my tall 50 gallon bow front to a 4inch micro disk, and 24" wall curtain bubbler with led lights. I have pump in a closet near by ran dual run 15 feet of silicone line to a set of check valves then to a 5 way distributer. The knob is about 60% and it runs a little warm so be sure to use in a cool location to help avoid heating the water. For my setup the line is under carpet on concrete so the tank always received cool bubbles.60% is sufficient air supply for me but I can crank it up to max and it gets quite powerful and still quiet. I love the simple design inside and the effort that is taken into making it quiet. Unfortunately 6 months into service a noise developed and airflow plummeted so contacted manufacture and they replied by email within 24 hours. Sadly I bought it well in advance of use and warrenty ran out but found one of the rubber diaphragms had broken which is going to happen in time I just never though this quick and though it was $65 heading to the garbage can. Customer service sent me a link to buy a new pair for around $7 so I got 2 of them (4 total) and have 3 spares now. I highly recommended that you buy a set when your new pump warrenty runs out because they will wear and tear over time and it's easier to have on hand for less down time. The new set was much thicker and am confident they will last longer. I'm very happy I didn't have to junk it and could get the parts. So after installation it was back to its full glory. Nothing more I can say about the pump other then I love it and it's design even if I have the replace parts now and then.the manufacturing company's customer service was nice, quick, and very helpful! I gave that expirence 5 stars and the pump 4.5 stars for the pump only due to the diagrams failing so quickly.

10 month review of Hygger air pump HG 946 no longer works UPDATED 1 21 2021
After owning this product for 10 months. The unit no longer produces air for a 55 gallon gold fish tank. I was using this unit to produce air to the Hygger air stone and 2 one inch air stones. At first the product worked well, was quiet and started off very strong. At the time of the set up, I had the unit turned up about 3/4 of the way. So this unit can certainly produce air for a larger tank with more than the two gold fish I have. The unit stopped working and no longer produces air after owning for 10 months. I have purchased an inexpensive unit for now. To truly be able to provide an accurate review of a product. One needs to see if the company will warranty the unit. For this unit to die after 10 months while at a 3/4 value is unacceptable in my opinion. I will update this review if the company honors their warranty with a new unit.UPDATED 1 21 2021: I contacted the company when the unit stopped working. After sending proof of purchase. I did receive a new unit immediately. The Hygger unit is a fantastic unit. Its is powerful and quiet. I will keep this at 4 stars due to having so far a short life span in my opinion. I did open the broken unit. Both of the diaphragms have split. They do look like they could be replaced. I have not investigated weather or not those could be purchased separated. So that is the next thing I plan to do, is attempt to fix the old unit. Hope this helps.

Stopped working in less than a year, but GREAT customer service sent a replacement
Edited review: I originally rated this one-star because the pump stopped pumping in less than a year. Within days, the company reached out to me and offered me a replacement pump. By this time, I'd disassembled the pump and found the diaphragms had both torn, so I asked them to send me a replacement diaphragm kit instead, which arrived within two or three days. Unfortunately I was unable to unscrew one of the old diaphragms (that screw is in there GOOD!), so I asked for a replacement of the small plastic+magnet part. They shipped me a whole new pump instead. I've increased my rating to 5-stars because of the amazing customer service, and my overall happiness with the working pump.--------------------Original review follows: I bought this pump less than a year ago based on so many positive reviews, but it's basically stopped working. If I remove the air tubing, I can feel an ever so slight amount of air coming from the output, but not enough to put bubbles into the air stones. After acquiring an emergency pump replacement from my local fish store, the stones were putting out tons of bubbles again, so I can definitively say it was the pump at fault, not the tubing or stones. Aquarium store said pumps ought to last 5-10 years. I haven't independently verified that statistic, but I can say for sure I expected this one to last more than 1 year! Very disappointed.

Extremely quite and powerful.
EXACTLY what I was looking for!!I cannot express how QUITE this air pump is!!! I was SHOCKED!!!!! Honestly, I thought for sure I'd be able to hear it in my mini-fish room, but I can't at all. Not even a hum. If I crank it up all of the way I can hear a tad bit of vibration but it's less that any of my other air pumps. This by far is the largest.I wanted a quite air pump I could run multiple tanks off of and this is it! So far I running Sponge Filters in four aquariums (Two 20 Longs, Two 10G)!!! In there I have (01) Med, (02) Large, and (01) Med. Size Double Sponge Filter and it's doing great! There are two outlets but I tee off from there where needed. I'm gonna keep splitting off into more setups as I build them so I will update review along the way. Anxious to see just how much can be powered by this. The adjustment knob on the back is extremely smooth and seems to really look into place. No drift or worry of air pressure changing over time.Would absolutely recommend! I will be buying another. Once I finally hit this one's capacity that is!

Stopped working after 4 months, and Hygger fixed the issue. Awesome comapny and product.
I had an issue with the pump and messaged Hygger support as the product was still in warranty to see what my options were and WOW... so glad I did. There are a lot of organizations out there that could learn learn from this company. I bought the product originally because the air pump has been claimed to be one of the quietest out there (I've owned 5 different ones in the past and this one is the quietest I've used by far). The product costs a few bucks more than competitor's products, but I didn't fully appreciate the value behind the product, which is worth way more than the silence in my fish room.I messaged their support and explained the issue I was having, expecting the typical response of "something you did, not our problem" that I seem to always get from other companies. Nope, not this time. I received a response soon after asking me to verify the problem by following the instructions in a video they included. When I opened the case to look inside you could tell it was well made ( I've taken apart several pumps and this one has substantial diaphragm mounts and connections). When I advised them of what I found they offered to fix the issue, which they did in just a few days. This company makes high quality products which they stand by. What I have learned is that to me, the price is well worth the product I received and the confidence knowing that this company takes pride in the their product and values their customers. This is the only air pump I will be buying from now on.*original review*It seemed like a nice product from some of the reviews so I spent the extra money on this product because I wanted a pump that was going to be extremely quiet, which it is. Unfortunately, like many other reviewers have said, it stops blowing air within six months. I noticed a big drop in the output of one port within four months of getting the air pump and after another two months the total air output is almost non existent. I checked my tanks to see only occasional bubbles coming up. I’m running a couple of sponge filters off this and luckily, I had an old air pump for an emergency that I could hook up so I haven’t lost any fish yet. Seems like there is a consistent quality issue with this product that may want to make you think twice about it to protect your investment in your fish.

Quiet and powerful! See below for follow up
$60 pricless. Was so excited to get a strong pump that has so many reports of quiet and power this did NOT disappoint its just as powerful as my last pump but so quiet cant tell its running and its running at highest amd can't hear anything. What a relief. I will purchase another if it lasts a while. I will use my loud one (different brand and pump) for a back up. So greatful this pump is amazing!March 17, 2022 pump just died. I bought a second one in June cause I liked how strong and quite it was. Went down to one blower at end of 2021 as wouldn't blow enough for 2. Loved it but unfortunately didn't even last a year. :( here we try pump 2 today. :)

Beware: One Side Broken after a Year of Use. Update on 05/03/22
Update on June 3, 2022. Soon after I posted about one side not working, I messaged the team as recommended by other reviews. A team member responded to me almost immediately saying they'll send me diaphragm replacements for the pump. We were waiting quite a bit for Amazon to make them available. But once available, it got shipped to me right away. I replaced the diaphragms and now it works good as new. Their customer support team is one of the best I've experienced on Amazon. Don't hesitate to reach out to them if there's an issue with your pump.I bought this about a year and 1 month ago. It was beautiful. But today, I went into my fish room and noticed that in a few tanks my fish were gasping for air at the surface of the water. What happened was any sponges powered by the right side of the pump were dead. No air was going through at all. So one side was dead while the other was working. I have a few spare air pumps so I was able to hook some sponges to those. It was okay while it lasted. But, my Tetra Whisper has lasted 3 years and counting while this is dead after a year and one month.

Lasted 6 months, easy warranty replacement
Seemed to be working great, then about 2 weeks ago it got quiet and started losing power. Now it is pumping nothing through one output and barely anything from the second. About to RMA, will update with experience.*UPDATE* Contacted support. They had me disassemble it to check if it was the diaphragms. It was (see pics). They sent me a new one at prime speed. Good experience. They sell the diaphragms as a kit, but apparently out of stock.

Very powerful tiny bubbles.
Large nice unit. Love the dial. Decided on this better system. It's overkill and I run it on low....but it's awesome. I purchased in combination with the hygger air stone. My opinion these are the best. Super quiet. Super powerful. On high in my 75 gallon I can't see the fish hardly with just one airstone. I've only had it for a few days but if the system holds up for a few years I'll be a regular customer of this brand of products.
