I hate flowery scented cleaning products, who wants to wash their hands in flowers and fruit?This scent is like the smell of freshly cut wood! It's so fresh and clean smelling, and it lasts!I am housebreaking a puppy, and can't use paper potty pads because he shreds them, so I boughtpeople bed pads. Never thought I'd be one of those people on the commercials where I'm sniffing my laundry,but that's just what I did, even with his pee pads. My sister used to tell me some of my laundry smelled musty, and that you couldn't leave it in the washer for more than a few hours...with this Gains scent, even after a whole day, it still smells like fresh cut wood and my dryer does too. Wish they sold this scent in Febreeze. Oh, the scent is Fireworks, but don't let that put you off... give it a try.

I really love the scented detergents and booster, especially Island Fresh and anything fruity. I order regularly from Amazon because I can't find the scents I like in stores. I have two issues with Gain products though...1. I go through a 20 oz container of scent beads per month and it REALLY bothers me to toss all that plastic when the bottle is empty. Gain needs to make these available in an eco friendly package and in bulk. I have already switched to another brand of laundry detergent sheet because I refuse to contribute to the plastic waste of liquid detergents. I really hope this company can do the responsible thing and package all of their products in a more eco friendly way.2. I don't understand why it is so hard to find a description of the scents that explain what they ACTUALLY smell like! Most reviewer claim to love the scent... but they don't describe it. Is it fruity? Is it floral? Is it musky? The Gain website does not give any better descriptions. Seems like this should be much easier than it is. For the record... Island Fresh is a nice fruity, sweet, mango scent.
