A perfect light for a garage or work place. As the light is compact, being Led. and low power.

I needed a light in my garage so went to Amazon, had a look around and settled on a high intensity plug in LED fitting (not this one!) but it was so poorly made I could not use it.That went back, another look for an alternative and I spotted this one - very different to what I had before but I saw that as a good thing and ordered one. So glad I did as.......* It's easy to fit, just connect two wires in the block connector and then two screws to fix it to the wall or ceiling* It's bright, certainly bright enough for the double length garage I have but not a glaring bright light that hurts your eyes* It's strong, being in the garage it has been hit a few times when I've been moving planks of wood around not even a scratch* It actually looks quite nice, I know that's down to personal taste but it looks like it's meant to be there, not like some of the other units you can buySo I really like this and wish this was the one I picked first time round - hindsight is a wonderful thing..

Our old porch light died some time ago through water ingress. I prognosticated for as long as possible, but was eventually shamed into fitting a new one by “she who must be obeyed”. This one seemed to be a reasonable price and I liked the look of it. So starting with the positives: it is good and bright... Now to the negatives: Cable entry is offset to the side and there are no holes for mounting it! However, a couple of minutes with a drill and there are mounting holes now, also with the aid of the drill the cable entry is now in the centre (with a grommet fitted there). I liberally spread silicon sealant anywhere where water could enter, so hopefully it should shine brightly for some time. An excellent light... but it requires a little ingenuity to fit it.

Bit fiddly to put up. Good light for garden

Easy to install. Using to light up an under stairs cupboard and it is fine for that. Quite unobtrusive.

Both of these lamps failed after only twelve months. I was expecting years of service from these LEDs. The plastic covers were also starting to yellow after only a year. So I've replaced them with old fashioned bulkhead lamps with glass covers, containing LED bulbs.
