Phifertex Standard Solids - Gray

After less than one year, the cheap polyester cloth supports under the cushions of our deck chairs degraded so badly that you could just put your hand down and they would shred. So instead of replacing them with cloth again, I decided to use the type of mesh used on some of our lounge chairs. I ended up with this product, along with some polyester outdoor thread from Coats to color match.It sewed easily, held pins nicely while sewing. I will say that you want to be very exact in measurements and do NOT count on it stretching or giving very much at all. The first support I sewed, I expected a little stretch so I made it just a bit small. Nope. Had to rip out the stitches and match very close the actual width needed.They look good, are strong enough for people to just plop down on them when the seat cushions are put away and should last certainly more than one year, but for several years to come.

I love using this for tote or beach bags. When I received this yardage, it was rolled on a tube and in fantastic condition. It is study and quality excellent.

Shipping was a bit much but I could not find it anywhere else so we bit the bullet and bought it anyway. Good fabric and made for a strong, durable, and easy to clean dog bed.

I bought this to replace the fabric on some outdoor furniture. It seems sturdy enough. I was able to replicate the design from the old fabric and sew similar pieces with this without any problems.

I read on a forum that Phifertex is the best material for pet beds. It's a bit pricey but well worth the investment for making these beds. My dog now has a bed that will keep him cool during the summer. I used packaging strapping and a glue gun to create a seam on the ends and screwed it into the pvc so tension was placed evenly across the fabric when my dog sleeps. This way the fabric isn't being stretched across each screw point.

Worked wonderfully for lawn chair seat replacement. Happy with it... latter will buy more.
