Work Bench
Great Product...,However, I Overpaid for this item by $300.00, por that price it should have been Put together.Nowhere in the description does it say "Assembly Required" .. Any time I've seen this Workbench at Home Depot, it was Assembled, on the Sales Floor with 10 others Assembled just like it... I believe there should be some sort of Compensation...

Expensive but not much of a bench!
Fit and finish were not up to par. Drawer runners were pulled loose, some bolt holes did not line up. The most troublesome was the fact that they painted the stove bolts with crackle paint and threw them in a bag before they were dry, I had a clump of bolts that took a long time to separate and us a wire brush and files to clean all the threads and bolt heads. It looks good from a distance but I know it will not be serviceable long term. I lost my focus and thought that high price meant quality, really true in this case!

Great Work Bench
There were a few places where it was hard to get my hand in and tighten the nuts and bolts.

Solid and well built
I use it for a coffee bar. Fits my industrial farmhouse style perfectly. Delivery was excellent.

Look impressive, substandard construction.
I put a 90 lb statue on it and it bent the bench, fracturing one of the drawers. Also the butcher block seems to be some synthetic or hybrid wood. Very weak, dents easily. For the price, I would just get a husky, gladiator, or craftsman workbench. The only appealing characteristic of these benches is the rustic look. If you buy them, don't use them but for a table and no heavy duty construction projects with them.

Who approved this?
I don't think I've ever cussed an inanimate object so much. Im used to assembleing furniture, too benches, doing handy work, etc so I'm pretty experienced with putting stuff together. This is THE WORST thing I've ever put together. It is not worth the hassle. The right drawer won't open without prying part of the frame out of the way because it bends when you put the top bench on the frame. I had to beat on the right front leg with a mallet for 10 minutes to get one of the key bolts in. The paint or coating they put on the frame rubs off very easily so if you don't wear gloves, plan washing your hands 10 times. Just a failure all around. Go with Husky or some other brand.

Love it ... bring friends to move / build it
We have a industrial décor theme going, and it fits in very well with that motif. Everyone that comes in checks it out, and they say how much they like it. It's quite heavy, so bring friends when you go to move the box. One friend minimum when you are building it too. The top carriage bolts are a royal pain to get to with a wrench (my arm doesn't rotate that direction...). Use a socket and extension(s) instead for those. We bought ours from the local store of large national hardware company, rhymes with gnome hippo. Not all of them have it. Though they did offer to assemble it for free, but I wasn't sure I could get it home afterwards if they did. If you have any doubts if they're the same, check out the photo... For size reference the TV is a 75".

Great bench cheaper elsewhere
At home Depot for 396 what a mark up on here. Great bench, really well put together and clean looking. Wouldn't pay more than 400 for it though cause you can get an actual tool bench with a lot of drawers for the same as this.

Very useful, but had a few flaws
I like the design of the workbench. It was a great size for a packing Bench and the drawers and shelf are all fantastic.About a month after I got it, the drawers did fall out the bottom of the bench. (Without anything in, luckily!) The screws are probably too small to keep the drawers attached to the top surface. We luckily had some screws that were longer already in the house, and managed to patch it up ourselves. The top surface is also VERY easily damaged. I pack books and have nothing sharp on the surface, but even things like putting a pen down in the wrong way, or folding a cardboard box up on the table has scratched the surface noticeably. Sometimes even denting it! (A pen should never really be able to dent a table)I'm having to buy in some wax and wood pens to see if I can at least make the surface look presentable again. However, like I said the actual table is a great design, and apart from the draws and the surface everything else is perfect. The wheels are truly fantastic and easy to move about. It's easy to build - instruction wise- but also quite heavy. It's definitely a two person job. And I really do mean that 😂
