The blue skirt were folded in half, and in half again and tightly packaged in the box. The blue skirt is made from a harder plastic than the original, which I had hoped work work after sitting under heavy books for a week to flatten out. But even after flattening the inner part of the skirt, it does not lay flat when installed and subsequently does not have the suction that other skirts do. The Baracuda NOW gets stuck EVERY day as is essentially of no use. I have installed these parts on the Baracuda in the past, so while they are not "easy", they are not "difficult". I am purchasing from another supplier and would not order this again.UPDATE: while I were dissatisfied with the product, the customer service were 5-star! The supplier responded to my concern within 24 hours and provided a refund to my account. ***This update being shared as my acknowledgement of them doing the right thing, not because it were requested of me.

Total price for all pieces included at my pool place would have cost close to 200 bucks. This is an amazing deal.

This would have received 5 stars but they shipped it folded into a pie-piece/wedge so the blue suction pad was distorted and wouldn't lay flat. I had to.soak it in a dink of hot water and put pots on top to get it to flatten out and even then it wasn't totally flat.This really should ship flattened since that is the purpose of the blue pad: to lay flat against the bottom of your pool and bounce around. It is made of a relatively stiff plastic vs softer rubber like the original. Seems to work well though I will probably buy the original next time for better performance.

Only needed the finned disk for my G3 but the diaphram and foot pad seemed like a bonus buy for a couple extra bucks. But if time is money that extra bucks was spent pretty quick.Like other reviewers state the disk did arrive all rolled up. For me it flattened out with no issues.The foot pad does look a little different from the original. Also seems like a harder material.Cleaned the pool filters and replaced all three parts on the vacuum. It looked good but did not want to move.Changed it up and replaced the new diaphram with the other new diaphram. Still no movement.Put the old diaphram back in with new pad and the vacuum moved slowly.Now changed back to the original foot pad and old diaphram. Away she went. Worked like a champ.To satisfy my curiosity and try another configuration I decided to do the original pad with new diaphram. Minimal movement in the pool.After my long haul G3 restoration I'm thinking that the pad, and diaphrams are not the best quality and in my instance they were pretty much useless. Stalled my G3 in the water. The old, originals worked great. And the new finned disk looks good and seems to do its job.

It took some work to get the replacement parts on. There’s a YouTube video that explains how to take the whole base apart- that’s the only way I was finally able to get the skirt on. But now, a month later it works way better than the original did! I’m guessing- but I think the stiff texture of the replacement skirt helps keep it moving, instead of getting stuck in corners.

I saw some reviews that said it was difficult to install. I let it sit in the sun a little bit before installing and soften up the material and was installed in less than 5 min.Time will tell how long it lasts, but first day I am pleased. Easy to install and is working great so far!
