Good!
The mug works well, with the lip thin enough to sip from. The handle doesn’t really work - it’s hard to hold (other version have a hole or two in the handle to take a finger: they’re better). I have been using wooden bowls (all made in UK) for porridge for decades now - they don’t rot. I doubt this mug will, either. The 12 oz. size is definitely more practical for soup or cereals. Worth the extra expense.

A nice big KUKSA
It is a good size for a coffee a lot of these KUKSA are a bit on the small side this one is OK for a good brew but! I marked 1 star down because the handle is a bit weak to hold it would’ve been better with a better handle with a hole in it like some of my other kuksa have

Well made
Bought these as Christmas presents and have no idea what the recipients think of them because it’s Christmas Eve today and they’ll open them tomorrow. What I can honestly say from here is that the size and quality and ergonomics feel right and I plan on ordering one for myself. If you’re one to drink tomato soup or chili straight out or a cup then these are for you!The horizontal handle is great for campfire coffee as well as it gives a more serious purchase on the body of the cup than a standard teacup ear with a small hole in it.You won’t go pinkie up with these. My lone gripe is that it won’t quite hold 12 ounces, so a standard soda or beer won’t quite squeeze into these. But that’s trivial. These are an awesome piece of kit for outdoor adventures or for Sunday more inf coffee with a good book.Just be sure to get some mineral oil and treat these as you should treat any other wooden kitchen implement you may own.

So far so good
Item arrived with no cracks or chips, great size because when you want coffee, you want a cup of coffee. I immediately gave it a thin coat of olive oil and then hung it to soak in 24 hrs later I applied another coat... I've used it about 5 times now in the back country and have had no issues with it, I'll update if any issues arise

Great cup
Cup was exactly as advertised and arrived in perfect condition, we bougt 3 and each one had its own uniqueness to it with a rustic and refined style, thev cup holds a generous amount of coffee or tea and is the perfect size to cook 2 packs of oatmeal, also used it for ramen and stew, came pre treated but you will need to apply a light coating of cutting board oil with repeated use (normal for using wooden bowls and cups.) All in all great product and made in the USA.

Nice Cup, probably a bit heavy for backpacking.
It is nice enough I now have to buy a second one for my wife. It is not a light weight back-packing item unless this is the 'luxury item' in your pack and you don't mind a little more weight for it. This isn't a bad thing, but something to keep in mind. I plan to use mine on shorter day hikes, car camping, and probably here at home too. Mine needs just a touch of additional sanding inside the cup, there were a couple of minor rough spots.. not a big problem, but the smoother this is the easier it is to both clean, keep clean, and minimize any 'germ' phobia issues :)I've heard some on here are using normal vegetable oil to season their cups. I would advise against that. Normal vegetable oil goes rancid and your cup will stink when it does. I recommend food grade walnut oil. It costs a bit more, but it doesn't go rancid and you can also use it on cutting boards, and other wooden utensils. It's a pretty cool cup and will get noticed at the campsite.
