SkechersMen's DELSON-Antigo Oxfords

I bought these for my son and didn't realise they were not true lace up shoes but "look" like they're laced and therefore I was over the moon that these turned out to be this because my son has been after some like this for ages, so this was a happy accident.These look smart and are made well. The sole has a good grip and they are sturdy and comfortable. You cannot tell that they are not manually laced at all. Really effective and look great!Made of leather, he's been out in the rain with these and his feet have remained dry. He's worn them every day - all day, for the past couple of months and they're showing no signs of wear and as you can see from the pics, short of a bit of mud, they look brand new (I had to snap the pic the minute he got in as I'd never get the chance otherwise 🤣).They are on the expensive side, (£70 at time of order), but they're good quality and I'd happily buy these again for him in the future, when he needs a new pair. Very happy with these shoes. Recommended.

I’ve been more than happy. I usually wear depending on weather Hey Dude shoes. I was looking for a similar light pair of shoes but sturdy and waterproof. Fulfilled my expectations. Yes the elastic laces are a pest you get used to that and quickly learn how to get them on easily. They are expensive but so far delighted and worth the money. As others have said you can cut the laces and replace with a normal pair.

Very comfortable and a good fit

It’s a great shoe with better grip than you’d imagine. I’d say they seem a little wider than a standard sizing.They come with elasticated laces that seem to have confused other reviewers who don’t seem to realise they can still be pulled tight. The laces can be swapped out if you don’t like them but personally I like the convenience and they always look smart.Can be dressed up or down. I got mine in winter and I’m impressed with the waterproofness and how well the leather holds up to taking a beating from the weather and the sand where I walk.Still feels cool and comfortable. Feels sturdy and well build but still comfy and flexible like a trainer.Perfect if your the kind of guy who doesn’t want to have lots of pairs of shoes

Nice styling and very supportive and comfortable.

The shoes are super comfortable to wear and the fit is perfect.The only problem I found, if I wear them every day to go to the office, the feet start smelling bad, even if I wear socks. I bought a powder to counter this, but I can not wear the shoes for 3 days in a row (not even in winter).I still wear them, but only for short periods.

I've had Sketcher trainers before; these are my first pair of shoes from the brand. The bottom line is that the existing elasticated 'laces' make them quite difficult to put on - I hasten to add that I don't have wide feet. The elastic isn't adjustable, so they can be considered as fully laced up/tied before you start, which is what makes them literally a pain to put on. I solved the issue with a sharp knife, cutting out the elastic and replacing it with a pair of actual laces. They are now exactly as I would have expected from Sketchers - light and comfortable. To be honest even though I really like them, due to the above circumstances I'm not sure if I would recommend these shoes as I'm sure not everyone would be happy taking a sharp knife to a brand new pair of shoes. I've been wearing Skechers Piers for years (see what I did there?) and size 8.5 UK fits all. You can't get Piers at the moment and maybe never again but I saw these and I was looking for something smart yet light and comfortable and decided on these. They arrived from Europe in two days (impressive) and sure enough 8.5 was 8.5. Same as the Piers. These are so light and the comfort from the memory inner sole (memory foam) is out of this world. A little more pricey than I normally spend on footwear but I'm not complaining. Only thing I'm not keen on are the elastic shoe laces. They look nice but I'm an old boomer who prefers tie up laces so I bought a pair of matching brown 90cm laces and they will certainly do the job. I haven't worn these out properly yet so no mileage on them. I plan to wear them for work mainly. Ticks all the boxes.
