Check for old stock before you buy
Did not give accurate color results. Out-of-date supply maybe?Get the manufacturing date from the seller before you buy these chemicals. These are only good for a few years. And, I keep finding stock 5 years old or more. This one in particular was not dated.

I bought this to test the alkalinity of my water. I could have just used some red food coloring instead.
