Unzano 2021 FHD 1080P Webcam: Built-in Microphone-Advanced Autofocus and Ring Light with 3-Level Adjustable Brightness, Plug&Play Streaming Webcam for Zoom/Skype/Xbox Gamer/YouTube Streamer

Very good webcam at least at Logitech C920 level, if not higher.When I checked sample video I recorded; my VLC video player software recognized the file as H.264-AVC (see my pic).Logitech C920 also does H.264-AVC, while much more expensive Logitech C930e does H.264-SVC (an improved version of AVC codec). So if your videoconferencing application demands higher specs; you have to open up your wallet. For the rest of webcam users (99%); this will be much more than satisfying.It has "real mechanical" autofocus (compared to many misleading products on Amazon). When you go to Windows 10 Camera app settings; you can switch to manual focus and as you slide the bar you'll hear camera mechanically acting thru its internal coils.Reaction speed of autofocus is quite fast, as I tested by inserting my hand in&out front of my face. It also doesn't periodically hunt for focus where many cheap webcams have that terrible habit of doing.Default auto light exposure level is good. Plus you can change it on your videoconferencing software (thru Windows interface). Check attached 2 pics from Skype Business settings; you can even do zoom and pan with sliders there (which are obviously software cropping – not real hardware action).Ring led light is mostly a gimmick, hoping to attract "beauty" crowd out there. It only makes a slight difference if your face is really close to camera but not at your average videoconferencing distance. With that touch button on the camera you can change that led light at 3 levels and turn it off as well.Recorded audio level is good (thru 2 mics at the back side of the webcam). As you'll see on my pic, Windows records natively audio at 44kHz - 32bits and video at 1920x1080 resolution at 30fps in a mp4 file format.It comes with a very detailed user manual in the box, in quite good English. I tried to find a pdf copy of that manual online (I couldn't) - which made one point quite clear : this product is probably not manufactured by Unzano, as no web sites comes under that brand. In Amazon you'll find (currently) 4 very similar looking webcams with ring-light. Only Angetube brand has their web site - but even there no user manual. So you shouldn't probably expect much for future support or firmware updates etc. That's where advantage goes to Logitech. Plus the price level of this camera is almost at par with a Logitech C920 (which technically at about same capability). When novelty of that "ring-light" feature wears out; you'd expect to see a price drop on this camera.When you plug it in; Windows 10 assigns built-in "USB Live camera" driver created by Microsoft in 2006!Coming back to real manufacturer question of this camera; unlike you see on Amazon product page - it doesn't have Unzano brand on front. Only a sticker at the back (see my pics). Also the box has two stickers saying Unzano. No Unzano word at all on printed user manual. So obviously; by replacing these 3 paper stickers, you can make it any brand you like. Welcome to Chinese manufacturing practices, where one non-descript product is sold under many different "brands".Bottom line: good camera. I wish there was fully disclosed technical specs – which could have justified that price level (like if it had higher video codec spec?). For example; if it did H.264-SVC (versus AVC) that’d have put it directly at “Logitech C930e killer” level at less than half price. But it doesn’t. May be the manufacturer can shed some conclusive light on real hardware specs? I’ll update if I hear anything.

I love this camera. I love how it can swivel up, down, right and left. The back also mounts to any thick or thin monitor just fine. The image/video quality is superb. The light it outputs isn't much, but it's good enough to add an extra layer of lighting. I was having trouble when I first installed it as the screen on the camera in Google meet or my PC's internal camera, kept flickering and not with the lines going down your screen, but the image was actually flickering. Distorting the video quality. After 2 weeks owning this camera and after posting a question about how I could resolve the flickering, I wasn't getting good advice from customers. I also googled to no avail. I finally decided to email the seller to inform them of my issues. Right away, Kim (the seller), asked me some questions and that she would assured me she would help resolve my issue I was having with Google meet video. I came to find out that the flickering I was seeing was from lack of power. I had connected the webcam USB to my Dell dock station, which was not providing enough power to the webcam (strangely enough since it is powering my laptop). After I connected the USB directly to my laptop (as Kim suggested and not sure why I didn't try this before), the flickering completely stopped! Wow, I was impressed with Kim!! Man..I liked my camera before with the flickering but now, omg I love this camera even more since now I get to use the highest resolution Google meet has to offer (720) and my coworkers say they love the quality they see. Hats off to the customer service support from Kim! Again, I couldn't be more happy with this purchase. If you contact the seller, they respond right away. I love this camera! And looks fancy and shiny too! I would highly recommend this camera to anyone considering it. You won't be disappointed.

Pros:-Image quality-Fill light-Easy to useCons:No privacy coverNice little camera. It was very easy to get started; just plug and play. My laptop is a little on the older side so camera quality was admittedly not stellar to begin with. I would assume newer computers are probably generally better but I can't really speak to that. All that being said, this camera works nicely all-around. The frame rate is an improvement, as well as image quality and video smoothness. The built-in light is also a nice feature, adding enough fill light to be useful in a fairly small package. The microphone as also better than the built-in mic in my laptop, though I tend to use headphones for video calls, so that was less of a selling point for me. The only feature that I do wish that this camera had is a privacy cover. I generally just unplug it when I'm not using it, so the lack of a cover isn't a huge inconvenience but it would be nice to have.

*Update 5/19/2020*Customer Service is fantastic. Kim Wang was very helpful and made sure that i was taken care of. She first wanted to make sure we were on the same page about my issue. After that, she provided a clear solution and if that didn't work, she offered a replacement. But with their clear instruction I was able to update the drivers for the webcam and now it is working great. Kim Wang was always in contact and followed up on my webcam. Definitely raising the rating after this good customer service experience.*Original Review* enjoyed using this...when it works. When the camera is first used it works, but as soon as I switch it off in any program I use, the program doesn't recognize the camera when I try to switch the camera back on and sometimes freezes the program. I have to uninstall the camera drivers, unplug the camera, and plug it back in to install the drivers, but I dare not switch it off again or else I have to repeat the install process. I am now passed the return time and I'm stuck with a nuisance of a camera.

I was please ro see that this unit is small in size. Looks big in images but is a nice unobtrusive size.When I first set it up I saw my image through Microsoft teams and was VERY disappointed .Lots of ripples and jagged edges within the image - a real fail. Other team members saw a good crisp image - very impressed . So it was just the way you see yourself BUT this is a Microsoft teams software problem NOT the camera.When you have the camera on via Windows Camera it is a brilliant view and that is what others see.

La calidad de imagen es buenísima, buena nivel “cámara Web”. No se puede comparar con una cámara Hd de otro tipo. Sí es mejor que cualquiera que venga instalada en una computadora. La toma es ancha, el foco manual y tiene rosca para montarla en un tripié. Vale la pena.

The image is great, but the led light for me only softens the shadows when you have the camera on your monitor at arms length.

Great images and video ... for the price it is a great buy
