Saved my neck!
I've been wearing one for about 6 months. I bought it because I have 3 fused vertebrae in my neck from a prior wreck. I thought an near instantaneous C-collar would be the only way I could ride in relative safety..Well, after 20 plus years since my last get-off, I had another one. Hard braking in the rain caused a low-side. Before I knew it, I was sliding on my rump in the driving rain, all wrapped up in the airbag vest. The vest popped to full inflation immediately. Rear and side motion while using a full faced helmet was safely limited by the vest. It was amazing!. Best thing? I didn't have to send the vest back to get "reactivated", I simply ordered and installed another CO2 cartridge and I was good to go!
