Parts I couldn’t find locally
Once again, I turned Amazon to get me what I need and can’t find locally. It’s nothing worse than having shades, but breaking the piece that helps you lift them up and shut them every night. I found these online they’re perfect. They fit their exactly manufacturer parts and now I have control again of my shades. Something small something silly but very important. I recommend these sellers help you fill your need for this product

Just like the originals.
Was getting tired of going back to where we bought the shades to get replacement handles. Thought the price was a bit high for a part that they must make by the tens of thousands and did not offer free shipping to Prime members. we like the shades and so we pay the price.

Ideal replacements for lost or broken original equipment.
These handles for the Hunter Douglas Duette series look and feel like the original items. Installation is simple; just snap into place and you are ready to go. The original handles become brittle with time so it is a good idea to keep replacements in reserve. I have tried using generic handles in the past but found that they look cheap and don't last. I would not hesitate to recommend these to friends.

They break after a short while
It's a simple, small handle made of plastic and containing no moving parts. This is an item that should never wear out over the course of a lifetime, in which case, there would not be a need for replacements. However, they seem to be made of an unstable plastic compound that disintegrates over time. UV exposure may have something to do with it, but I use them in Seattle, which hardly has much sun. I predict that one day in the not too distant future you will touch the handle, and it will crumble to pieces. I've been through two or three sets now on virtually all my blinds. They last about two to three years, at most. To add insult to injury, this part should cost about a dollar or less, in my opinion. For that matter, the manufacturer should provide free replacements, but they don't. The blinds actually look better without the handles, but the handles are convenient and I can't stand the asymmetry, so, silly me, I keep replacing them.
