GE Lighting 65 Watt Soft White Floodlight BR40 Light Bulb (4 Bulbs)

I tried LED floodlights, and the light was too bright and too harsh, so I ordered the GE long-neck incandescent bulbs.I received 3 boxes of 4 bulbs each. As I always do, I tried each bulb to be sure they were all working. After the first couple of boxes, I was feeling pretty confident... but on screwing in the 12th bulb, the very last bulb, I was disappointed to find that the very last (12th) bulb refused to light, no matter how many times I tried it or how hard I tightened it.One bulb is not worth returning and I suppose 11 out of 12 isn't a bad average, but I would have preferred 12 out of 12 working floodlights.I would note, prominently displayed on the face of the bulb, under the watts, volts and lumens, was the word "CHINA." Okay, China, we know you produce nearly everything we use every day, thank you very much! Wish I could find bulbs made in the U.S.A.; if they exist, the manufacturer should shout it out.

i was looking to replace 530 lumen indoor floodlights. These GE bulbs were advertised at 500 lumens on the Amazon product description, so I thought that was pretty close to what I wanted. However, when the shipment arrived the boxes had the lumens clearly labeled as 450. I am returning these, as they were not described accurately in the product description, and will be too dim.

Broken bulbs and now I can’t return
