Essential Add-On for Non-Wireless Scan Tools
This is a must-have for any scan tool lacking Bluetooth or Wi-Fi capabilities with bidirectional controls. While wireless scan tools are convenient, they are significantly more expensive than their corded counterparts. This accessory gives me the flexibility to move the scan tool around the car, aiding in diagnosis and allowing me to hear the components I’m trying to actuate without having to guess from the driver’s seat.

Affordable and useful cable
It comes in handy for extending the reach of the OBD II scanner to do bi-directional control for example at a far component in the vehicle, or when the car is high on the lift and I still have to use the scanner on the ground.

it works fine no problem here
It works every time, first time. It does not lose communication, it works fine no problem here. I can have my scanner at the office and plug this cable to a car out in the parking lot.

Bad quality
It went bad after only 3 months of use. Pins are too thick which makes it hard to connect. Sometimes I have to use force to make contact, especially with Hondas.Update: After sitting for 2 days, it worked again but stopped working the next day. I am very disappointed. My scanner is fine using a different cable.
