absolutely the best shower mirror I have ever used - and I ...
absolutely the best shower mirror I have ever used - and I have tried several! This works like magic - but, make sure you follow the directions closely and do not wash with abrasives. Most of the negative reviews I've seen were direct results from people not using as directed. Occasionally if it is especially cold in the bathroom and the shower is very hot you may have to re-splash the mirror once or twice during use, but that is really no issue. Surface is a nice size, good, clear reflection, and doesn't streak or fog up quickly, mounting bracket is very secure and ingenious. This thing should easily affix to any smooth surface in your shower. Mine has not budged since mounting and the angle of mirror gets moved around a lot in our shower to clean the glass door it's attached to. The included razor holder is nothing special, but it is a bit larger than most, so holds a larger razor, has clung to glass door with no issue, and it was free. If you are considering a fog-free shower mirror, you cannot go wrong with this one! Has made shaving a much better experience.

Great product, but you need a non-porous surface to mount it.
This is a very good mirror, big, easy to adjust, and because it tilts, one can mount it above the "splash level' so it stays clean and bright. I had no trouble mounting it, but it fell down after about an hour, I supposed because the tile was porous and permitted air to leak in and break the suction. Upper West includes in the package a plastic disk with some glue to mount on the wall, so that the mirror has a non-porous surface to mount to in case your tile is porous. So I glued up the disk, waited 24 hours for the glue to completely set, and then put up the mirror. Again I had no trouble mounting it, but again it fell down after about an hour. But this time the disk came with it. The problem was that the glue was not so great (I had cleaned the wall thoroughly beforehand so that wasn't the problem). I checked the mirror suction itself by mounting it to a glass partition, and it stayed up just fine. So I then went to the local hardware store and bought some outdoor (waterproof) 3M double sided tape, mounted the disk with that, and the mirror has been happily stuck to the wall ever since.I bought a second one for another house, and there all went well from the outset; the tile was well glazed and the mirror stayed up just fine. The provided razor holder is a bit flimsy, and I bought a stainless steel holder to use instead.

Looks nice and works great - just read the simple instructions...
This mirror has a sleek modern design, and the suction mechanism works much better than most. It actually twists to lock into place. I had no problems installing or using it in any way, even though most of the negative reviews seem to indicate issues with installation. Personally I think most of these consumers aren't following the simple, 3-step instructions that are written ON THE BOX, on a flyer INSIDE the box, AND emailed to new customers by the seller. Either that, or they are trying to install it on an inappropriate surface. Again, sometimes you have to actually use your head - suction cups DO NOT WORK on textured surfaces that allow air to creep in and compromise the seal... I installed it on a glass door and it won't move even with great effort...Yes it usually fogs initially when you get in the shower, but like all anti-fog devices, it goes away once the mirror heats up. Just rinse the mirror with hot water and it'll be fine.

HONEST Review of No Fog Mirror
Spent a lot of time looking for a shower mirror/radio combination, but since I couldn't find one to my liking, I settled on this purchase of just the mirror looking for a non-distorting one, nice size and performs well with no fog. I really like the size and look of the mirror. It's very simple and I like the fact that it is silver in color as it matches my bathroom very well (it's a little bit more upscale/hotel looking). I have cultured marble in my large shower (over 5 feet in length) and installed the mirror in a matter of seconds aprx. 3 feet out front of the shower head at eye level. The next morning it was on the floor. Thankfully, no damage to the mirror. I had even pre-cleaned the area with alcohol to make sure the surface was free of any dirt. I immediately put it back up and after a month later it's still hanging strong. It's nice that it swivels, but honestly, I'm a little afraid of moving it around because I don't want to compromise the suction. Not sure why it didn't work right away, but seems to be holding up fine now. The separate piece of plastic with two hooks works fine for my loofah but it's a little chincy. The mirror was fog free in the first couple of weeks but then started to fog up lightly. I ended up moving it a little farther from the water stream and it still fogs up lightly which is annoying but not enough where I can't see what I'm looking at. Basically, I think this product is truly "okay" but nothing to sing in the shower about.

Good mirror with little fogging
Yes, this mirror does work well, but no mirror will remain fog free for ever. Mounting of the suction cup will require an extremely smooth surface to avoid from having the mirror fall every few days on to the floor. I have polished marble in my shower and I consider that to be very smooth, but the mirror fell from that surface within a few days. After I moved it to the glass door, the mirror have remained in place without incident. Although it is not the exact spot that I wanted the mirror, it has stayed very well. Immediately after installing the mirror, the fog resistance was very high. I could get through a whole shower without any fogging. However, if you follow their recommendations of applying hot water to the mirror surface, this will aid in keeping the fog off for about 3-4 minutes at a time. In essence, I have to apply hot water to the mirror twice while shaving. In the past I have used soap suds on other mirrors, and I'm sure that while allow for longer times of usage without fogging, but the hot water works fine.

A well-engineered, highly functional product that is fit for its ‘shower-shaving’ purpose
Product Presentation and Initial Appearance:On receiving the fog-free shower mirror, I was initially impressed by the attractive gift-like product box. Furthermore, product characteristics and installation details were well-presented on all sides. I was a little disappointed, however, to discover no mention of ‘with a separate razor holder’ on the product box - this item was advertised on the Amazon website page illustration. Unpacking, in fact, revealed that the razor holder was included – good news for the practicality of shaving in the shower! Similarly, the product box illustration on the Amazon website page showed the mirror to have a 5.75” viewable screen. However, the product box received illustrated a 6.5” viewable screen – a nice surprise here. The shower mirror was large enough in size to see your face at a comfortable shaving distance. Moreover, the 1x magnification produced a clear, life size like image when held in front of you. The shiny chrome finish and light-weight materials were also perceived to be of high quality. The aforementioned features, in fact, instilled confidence in the newly acquired product and I was excited to begin my installation.Product Installation and Supporting Instructions:An instructions/troubleshooting sheet has been prepared for users of the fog-free shower mirror. The most reassuring aspect relating to the mirror’s installation was that the attachment mechanism was very similar to my Tom Tom Sat Nav suction mount system. In particular, clockwise and anti-clockwise rotations of the mechanism allow the sealing/locking and seal-breaking/unlocking of the mirror respectively to the bath porcelain wall tiles. In addition, the product package includes an opaque disc (white plastic) which can be used with the silicone glue to adhere to a textured/uneven surface if required. I was pleased to find, however, that I didn’t need the silicone glue mounting kit for the target bath tile. When focusing on the benefits of the locking suction cup, it should be asserted that the polymer suction cup material was flexible enough and had sufficiently large surface area to create the required vacuum for attachment. This feature, in my opinion, was the most impressive allowing a strong and rigid attachment, supporting the mirror to the tile surface. The thick rubbery material, although bendable, was strong enough to resist distorting (and tearing) and so effectively prevented unwanted mirror movement.Another great practical feature proved to be the swivel arm – a ball-and-socket joint (or spheroidal joint) which allowed an effective and fluid rotation of the mirror. More specifically, a 360° freedom of movement facilitated the stable adjustment of it. Having looked at the informative illustrations provided by Amazon on the product page, I settled for the mirror being positioned at 90° to me facing forward. I advise that you experiment first with a range of mirror and self-standing positions to create the optimum shaving experience.Product Performance:No condensation or mist-like effect has been observed after a few ‘shower shaves’ now. A little water does invariable leak down the mirror surface (i.e. a film-like effect) but this does not obscure or impair the image created. This small film of water does soon evaporate. I am optimistic, due to the anti-fog design features, that image quality will remain high in the future – will monitor this and post future update. The accompanying free razor holder has also been well-designed with a ‘snug’ fit (strong and thick transparent plastic) for your razor. However, twice one – two hours after installation, it did fall off. The suction cup here looks to be made from a different rubberised polymer material with less surface area for attachment. This evidently was insufficient to hold the weight of my Gillette metal razor and blade refill. Although marketed as free, this is still a little disappointing as it was considered by me an integral part of the whole shower shaving experience.Product Overview/Summary:Overall, a well-engineered and highly functional product that is fit for purpose in a potentially problematic environment. Advocates of shower-shaving are likely to be impressed by the wide range of features this mirror offers, as discussed in detail above. A little additional care could, however, be used when illustrating the product box with textual information. Such accuracy of content could ensure that the customer knows which particular items are included and the correct specifications.I hope you enjoy using this product as I currently do.

The suction cup is heavy duty and unique in that you turn the base to provide a good seal when attached to the shower wall
This is a well made quality bathroom accessory as advertised. The suction cup is heavy duty and unique in that you turn the base to provide a good seal when attached to the shower wall. It takes a few times to get the knack of attaching and creating the seal, but once it is is set it adheres very well and stays put. The mirror does fog up, but I give it a quick spray of water with the handheld shower head and the fog disappears. For some reason I didn't get the razor holder as advertised, but I'm not terribly upset by that. This is a well made unit that I highly recommend. In fact, I am going to be buying one for my Grandson to take to university. I have looked for some time for a mirror that is better quality than the cheap fall apart ones that I have had in the past and this is it.

Not perfect but pretty good.
Okay - this is not some sort of miracle mirror. It has a coating on it that stops it steaming up - for about 3 weeks. Slowly the magical powers fade and the mirror will steam up.Having said that - it was very nice when it didn't steam up to start with. The suction cup works very well - it's been fixed for 3 months and not budged an inch. It's a good size mirror and perfect for shaving in the shower. You just need to run hot water over it from the shower head for about 10 seconds and you're good to go. Won't steam up until you've finished. So - overall - it's a good mirror that I really like and as long as you don't expect it to stay fog free forever it's not actually a bad product.

Easy to put on and take off and feels solid
Suction cup on base works very well on my glass shower wall. Easy to put on and take off and feels solid. Mirror doesn't fog during shower but, of course, gets wet. Mirror itself could be slightly bigger in size but it's sufficient as is. Good product.
