Hape Wooden Shopping Cart Pretend Play Toy| Sturdy Wooden Grocery Cart Toy for Kids

I bought this as an early birthday present for my nephew's daughter who is almost 3 years old. She loves it! It is very stable and not too heavy. So far we have not experienced the problem of the wheels coming off that a few other reviewers reported. The quality is quite good!I was amazed at how compact it was in its disassembled state. It was very easy to assemble with the included allen wrench. The wheels come already attached to the base. All you need to do is assemble the basket pieces to the handlebar pieces and then attach them to the base. My nephew and is family live in Colombia, so they will need to disassemble it and pack it in their luggage when they return home. Fortunately it breaks down into pieces that should fit easily into a large suitcase or duffle along with their clothing.

I bought this about a year and a half ago, my grandson loved it then (1 year old) and STILL Loves it! His baby brother (1 year old) is also enjoying it now. Very well made. So much better than plastic. I am sure it will last for the next (last) grandchild too. Worth every penny!

We bought this for our youngest (2 years old) for Christmas. It was totally easy to assemble. It is cute and sturdy. But most importantly, our little guy just LOVES it. It is usually a grocery cart, but sometimes it is a stroller, lol. He even sat in it on Christmas Day. It held up but I took that opportunity to help him learn NOT to sit in it so he wouldn't break it and be sad. He hasn't sat in it again. Phew! Highly recommend this toy. (Really love this brand!)

This shopping cart is fantastic. My toddler has some mobility difficulties and is trying to learn to walk. I think I have tried, examined, or researched every walking/push toy on the market. Most of the popular walker toys just don't have the stability she needed and would frequently tip over. I purchased this shopping cart as a walking toy. It is extremely well made-- very solid and does not tip. It has the stability I was looking for. The wheels do turn a little fast for your average child learning to walk, but I modified them so they rolled a little slower. The shopping basket is also a great feature because it is very motivating to put things in and out of the cart or push a doll/stuffed animal. The best part is that I know she will be able to use it for many years to come for pretend play. I highly recommend!

This is a really great play toy shopping cart. It's very sturdy and I like that it is made of wood rather than plastic. The bright color is really fun as well. I will say that the thing that I do not like about it is that the wheels don't really "turn" Otherwise it is a really great toy!

No wheel issues here---and I have a toddler who practically does wheelies all over the hardwood floors with this cart. Is it just me, or is it pretty much identical to the one that Pottery Barn Kids sells (except different colors)? Either way--we love this thing. Love the wood and the cloth basket. I was debating about the metal Melissa and Doug cart, but I much prefer having a solid basket vs one that has holes in it (aka I could already feel a toddler tantrum coming on with various toys getting stuck in the holes). Super sturdy, we love it!

I really wanted to love this little shopping cart. It's the perfect size for my three year old son. The wood is very nice and the basket is a great size. However, the wheels keep falling off. We've tightened them multiple times and seriously, they just keep rolling off. It's extremely aggravating.Tip: You really need two allen wrenches to tighten them properly. Only one comes with the basket, but I highly recommend using another to hold them in place while you tighten the other side.Great alternative to plastic and metal {this is a good way to save your walls}, but I'm giving it only three stars based on the durability to price.

Begeistert unsere nun fast 2-jährige Tochter seit fast einem Jahr. Anfangs als Lauflernwagenersatz, weils toll war, dass sie von jeder Seite schieben konnte (ohne dass was umkippt oder die Füße anstoßen) und auch wenn manche bemängeln, dass sich die Räder nicht lenken lassen...ist ja auch nicht der Sinn beim Lauflernprozess und sie hat nach kurzer Zeit, als sie sicher auf den Beinen war, schnell gelernt, dass man den auch so wunderbar um die Kurve schieben kann. Im Korb findet alles mögliche Platz, der Stoff ist Robust und die gesamte Verarbeitung ebenso! Die Rollen sind ebenfalls nicht zu laut. Würde ihn auf jedenfalls wieder kaufen!!

Tiene el tamaño perfecto para llevar alimentos y jugar a la cocinita y Mi hija lo puede manejar tan bien que se lo lleva al super y es super resistente y lo mejor es el diseño. Mi hija tiene año y medio y lo manipula super fácil.

Mis hijas juegan mucho con el carro, siempre están con él, tienen 3 y 1 año. Es resistente, meten mucho peso y está aguantando bastante bien. Además, estéticamente es precioso. En general es una buena compra, recomendable 100%.
