It’s OK
Rating this watercolor paper is tricky. I bought it as a step up for my kids, who previously were using standard printer paper for watercolor painting. This is a good step up from that due to it's thickness vs printer paper. That said, this is not good watercolor paper otherwise. It is strangely a cool grayish paper, the tone of it is not appealing. If you are an adult trying to improve your skills it will hold you back. But if you just like moving watercolor paint around to see the pigments move around and don’t want holes in your paper, than this may due for you.

Good for Beginners!
These papers were the exact size I needed so I was so excited to see that they were cold press as well. The price was so reasonable! Well, I would have to say that I was just a bit disappointed. They do not have a true “white” color. They are more of a gray. They also aren’t as “stiff” as I hoped. I wanted to use them to watercolor greeting cards. I can use them but the result is just not as classy as I had hoped.

depends on what u do with it
if you are doing straight watercolor it fine, it doesn't buckle under 1 good wash but if u try to lift or move the paint a whole lot or any at all the paper started to get rough and nasty...not good for watercolorpencils or any kind of fine liner bc it gets fibers all over tips of liners or markers...it's just not sturdy...but it's the best for washes as far as buckling...I didnt tape it or anything and I'm new at this so my wash was pretty substantial and it didn't buckle at all...but thats the only pro in my opinion...don't get me started about trying to use an eraser...you can't recover from the slightest touch its just rough and nasty (don't know the word for it)

It's a good value but...
This paper is an unbeatable value for someone who does a lot of watercolor. It takes water without buckling. It has a good surface but it's not exactly white. It's a light gray. It feels weird. It's light weight. I wouldn't recommend it for embossing and it scorches easily.

Wouldn’t buy again
My kids love to watercolor. We have a nice set of brushes and paints. I bought these because of the size. I wouldn’t purchase again. The paper quality is poor. They have poor absorbency, colors easily run together, paper can’t hold much water, pages don’t easily rip clean from the pack. This would be fine for just messing around but I wouldn’t purchase these again for actual art projects.

Not for watercolor
Sure the price is good, but this paper will best serve small children that are just playing. The paper is difficult to remove from the pad without tearing, it curls and warps horribly, and the water tends to puddle on top of the paper. It might be good for drawing or oil pastels, but it’s horrible as watercolor paper.

Good, not magnificent
They are a good size and there are a lot of them in a pack, but they do tend to warp very badly, which I don’t expect from decent watercolor paper. I typically paint single subject botanicals with no background so it is not like the entire paper is loaded with water either. They are good enough for what I use them for anyway but I wouldn’t use them to paint anything crazy

Comfortable size paper!
I’m just learning to paint in watercolor. I found the quality very good for this purpose. The size is convenient to carry anywhere. Right now I use it while I’m outside in my yard. Really nice to capture the beauty of the flowers and birds. I recommend this paper for sketching and watercolor! Happy drawing!
