A slow-dance enthusiast's dream!
Volume 17 of the "Have a Nice Day" series pays homage to the romantic in all of us. Many of the songs have a distinct "Head on My Shoulder" quality to them that makes this disc useful for DJs and party-goers. Among the clutch & grab favorites are Morris Albert's "Feelings", Danny O'Keefe's cross-over hit "Good Time Charlie's Got the Blues" and Freddy Fender's Tex-Mex mantra "Before the Next Teardrop Falls."More in the mainstream are Orleans' "Dance With Me" and King Harvest's "Dancing in the Moonlight." Brownsville Station's fun-loving rocker "Smokin' in the Boys Room" provides just a little bit of balance to a decidedly slower-paced collection.A few of the cuts on this disc border between lesser known and unknown, and that brings the total package down into 4-star range. Still, this is a very good disc and belongs in any good collection of 70s pop. Recommended.

Cased Cracked/Smashed
The jewel case arrived in a cracked/smashed condition. Guess I know why it was the last one left. The CD was fine and played OK. Transferred the disc to a spare case I had on hand, so will not return

Love it!
I missed out on this era of music. Thank God I can still listen to this stuff today. This is where I belong!

It just doesn't get any better than that
King Harvest, Danny O'Keefe, Freddy Fender and Nazareth all on one CD. It just doesn't get any better than that.

Music to remember
The music of the 70ès is good but can't touch the 50's and 6o's. The beat goes on but the quality of the music is not moving at the same pace.
