It's a little smaller than my Gerber Hunter & Buck 110 that I carry on me. It was dull when I got it like others have said, but I got it sharpened up with no problem. Took a while to get all the oil off, raped it up in shop towel for 24 hrs., unrolling and wiped it down 4-5 times. Came with small sharping rod on side of sheath. I have it in my "Write In the Rain - Extra Knives - Multi-Tool Pouch"(see picture).

For the price this is a great product. Like other reviews the knife is coated in oil which goes away over time. Knife is very sharp out of package

This is another neat knife by DKC. I own several and I just love the look and feel of real Damascus steel! This knife does not have a locking mechanism which is great if you are looking for a slimmer size knife to more easily fit in your pocket. The knife is beautiful and has a great combination of the antique style sides and buffalo horn grips. This series of knives is a bargain and would easily cost much more if made in the USA and I doubt the quality would be better. The edge is sharp and everything is ready to go when you receive it. I loved cleaning the knife when I got it and had some of the white of the buffalo horn exposed under the preservation grease which gave the handle a very nice contrasting pattern. I received a discount for a honest and fair review.
