Have not had much of a chance to use these yet but they seem to be strong and well built.

Heavy Duty
Just got my new loppers and these are no joke. They're heavier than my regular handle trimmers, but they are worth the extra weight. The cutting opening is larger and heavier material. I bought these instead of the Fiskars due to the few extra inches of handle length, and the way they extend. These you just push a button on the handle and they slide out to whatever length you chose, very easy to use. Now with the extra length I can reach my palm fronds without get a step stool to stand on. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Did the job
Neighbors planted trees right against the property line many decades ago. For the last couple of decades, the branches (growth) have made it impossible to access the side of the house. The material from the trees is frequently visited by bees, so I ordered these clippers to give myself room to cut. Unfortunately, the bees would still get curious and fly out towards me, so also order a bee keepers suit. Funny enough, I went out on a cooler day after the suit arrived and there were limited bees. These trimmers cut branch widths at up 2” with very little trouble. The job was about 70 feet in length and 5-9 feet height of trimming. Upon finishing they were still cutting with no trouble. Very good cutters. I most likely won’t need them again for a very long time, but I would recommend them without question for trimming and reach (within the product descriptions). The really thick branches required leverage. So, heads up there.

Heavy weight for heavy duty.
Make no mistake, this is a heavy tool. Not made for weak arms if you are lopping over head. But it works great for that. As a bonus, I tried it on some thinner tree roots on the surface and it did an awesome job. I like that the handle extension clicks in place rather than a twist lock.

Avoid these loppers
Loppers worked ok on smaller branches, but when used on a bigger (1½") cherry, half of the aluminum jaw piece shattered. Don't waste your money on this Chinese junk.

Tough and full of leverage
I've used these for a month now on the fence line I'm clearing. I've put some serious stress on these handles fully extended on big branches and they continue to cut well. These aren't just little loppers. These really do cut up to 2" branches. I wind up putting one side of the handle in my gut and use both hands to pull it towards me. Still sharp (keep it out of the dirt and fence materials) !UPDATE :8/30/23The blade protector that the blade closes into broke. First it came loose and I tightened it , then it snapped at the first screw towards the tip. I am still able to use them as long as the branch is small and I can get it all the way back into the throat of the cut. Anything out towards the tip, the blade overtravels past the end of the guard and binds up.
