Colorful Products Neutral Protein Filler 1.2 oz.

This product is a life saver! After triple bleaching my hair and leaving it in a state of over processed and high porosity despair, it was evident I couldn't dye my hair without some help to save the little integrity that my strands had left. I have used this product over the top of a coconut oiling treatment before demi permanent dying, and I have also used it on its own before demi permanent dying - and on both occasions, the result has been fantastic. It helps achieve a much more consistent colouring, has given my weak bleached strands extra strength, and minimised further damage after multiple rounds of chemical processing. For one application, I ended up using 1/3 of the 4 oz bottle and applied this directly to my hair, leaving it to stand for 20 minutes prior to dying (rather than mixing in with the developer). For the price, purchasing this a no brainer - particularly if you want to keep your hair intact or if you have incredibly damaged hair that won't hold colour.

I bleach my hair often and the last salon I went to left my hair feeling a bit "gummy". I use protein fillers to help get strength back into my hair after coloring. Just put into a spray bottle and saturate damp hair. I throw on a shower cap and leave it for a while so it can soak in and after rinsing, I use a deep conditioner. Saves my hair and makes it feel better each time. Also, this really helps color go on better. I always mix a protein filler in my pastel colors and it covers the hair so much more than without.

This is the first time I've used a product like this. I have ash blonde hair but my hair has turned grew (white). I am coloring my hair about every 6 weeks (roots and then a comb out to the ends) . I find that after about 3 weeks my hair has lightened considerably and turns a bit brassy. I used this product before coloring my hair this last time as directed in the instructions. Once it had dried my hair felt straw-like ( dry). I proceeded to color my roots and hair as I usually do using a conditioner after rinsing. My hair was soft, beautifully colored and has remained so no for 3 weeks. I am impressed with how healthy my hair looks. I will continue to use this product. BTW a little goes a long way. I applied it with a regular coloring brush you would use to color your hair.

I've been bleaching my hair for years. Changing it from one radical hair color to the other. Before using this I noticed the color would not stay on for very long. Mixing this with my semi permanent hair color helps it last 2x as long without retouching. Also helps with the shine and health with my hair!After not being able to find this while overseas getting this again is heaven sent. This will help damaged over processed hair without a doubt!

This stuff is a total lifesaver if you've bleached your hair to the point of no redemption, and you want to go back to a more natural color. It works exceptionally well as a filler, but also as a deep conditioner. I have been using this for years and I highly recommend it. The absolute best, hands down.

I washed my hair and put it on for 20 minutes as stated by the directions. Then I colored my hair as normal. The color took really evenly my hair is very shiny and has no frizz. I plan on using this as a conditioning treatment as well in between colorings. I will definitely keep using this product.

I was having an issue where my roots would not take color after being bleached. The rest of my hair would come out great, but my roots would immediately shed the color and appear blonde. This product was only part of what I did to address the problem, so I can't exactly say that this was the miracle cure by itself, but I can say that my hair looks fantastic now and the color (specifically, on my roots) after using the protein filler has stayed vivid for much longer than usual. I would definitely recommend it.

I've been using the platinum and red fillers for years and I love them. I tried the neutral one and it just was not the same. I was surprised, but I ordered the platinum immediately after for the next bleaching and sure enough...my hair felt much healthier with the added bonus of being toned after using it. Will stick to their toning fillers.
