Introducing Traditional Bedfordshire Lace in 20 Lessons Hardcover – April 1, 2013

This is a beautiful book. I haven't reviewed before now because I haven't had a chance to read it. It looks like what I want to try my hand at making this lovely type of lace. When I've actually had time to sit down with it and try, I will write another review.

Great condition but there was a delay in delivery. The illustrations and directions are easy to follow. I am very pleased with the content of the book. It is arranged from easy patterns to more difficult. While a beginner could follow the instructions, I think a rudimentary knowledge of bobbin lace making would be best.

Patterns build your skills with easy to follow instructions. Very nice patterns.

I Look forward to getting into this book as soon as I get some other projects finished in the mean time.

At last I’ve found a book on Bedfordshire lace that actually teaches you, and provides the diagrams necessary to make things clear to the student. Excellent!If only there were a convenient Kindle version and some online videos to go with it! However even without these, this book is the Bedfordshire tutorial I’ve been looking for.
