I bought these for another purpose completely. I used them to wedge under my oversized sheets after they were tucked way under and I found the these are 2" wide and although they are weak at the narrow part they are able to be shoved under the sheets and mattress and seem to hold them in place to keep from slipping out. They seem to work pretty well for something like that. I have a platform bed so I just have the top mattress to wedge them under.For me it is a good find. Don't think it would work well if you have a box spring since you need the resistance of the platform for pressure. Good luck.

Not a rubber stopper

I bought these to hold up vinyl albums on shelves. I wanted a wedge that could reduce the space in the cube shelf and hold them if there were only 2-10 in a cube.1) they arrive smelling like new tires, they are rubber so, they smell like that. Smell is almost gone after 3 days (I have 40 of them in a shelf unit, different than one on a door on the floor)2) they do deform, softer rubber. Think this would be great for the door application, as it would fit snug under the door. For my application, 50 vinyl LPs round a corner of one, nothing big.3) love them. Bought 1 bag of 10, then 3 more.

Bought for our lake house trailer. The doors are high at the bottom so I have to stack them 2 high but they do work. They are made of a durable type of foam material

These do not hold a heavy door. Would not buy again

works fine unless you need them to hold open doors that are:metal or anything heavier than an interior wooden door,subject to wind,more than 1/4 inch from the floor, orthe floor is smooth including tile, wood flooring, flat concrete, cement, blacktop, or contains particles such as gravel, dust, or sand.
