Very simple to program: press the purple button on your garage door opener then press the Number 1 button on the remote and BOOM! you're remote is programmed. The Garage door opener will flash twice (mine did anyway) then you press the 1 button. Super easy. If you don't have the purple button on your garage door opener it may not work. Be sure to check it before you order this.On my Craftsman opener it has two covers one on the left and one on the right where the lights can be replaced. My purple button was on the left towards the top of the cover opening. I had to depress two white buttons simultaneously to lower the cover. I also saw where some people had problems with the clip. The company must have corrected the problem because mine is very snug.A great deal for two remotes that work well.

I've had this remote only a few weeks, but so far it’s an enormous improvement over my old remote. The old one (original equipment with the garage door opener) was getting worse by the day. I’d lean on the button right outside the garage door, and nothing would happen. I tried changing the battery and re-programming the unit, but no luck. The new remote was inexpensive, easy to program in under a minute and its range is at least 200 feet. Very satisfied customer.

Good distance, easy setup.Con: is very lightweight, does not use a standard AAA or coin battery, the metal clip is cheap, thin, sharp and could cut you putting it on the remote. At the end, after it was clipped on, would not open enough to clip onto a simple honda civic sun visor.Not having it within easy reach is a bummer but yes it works...

These paired easily, and successfully. The garage door opener could only pair 6 at a time, so if you are like my Mom and want to give a remote to al your friends, pick your favorites! Haha! Other than that, these remotes are great for the price, and easy to set up.

At first I was super excited about how easy this remote control was to set up and start working! It took about 30 seconds to connect and work. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my other car. Unfortunately...After about 3 weeks, they both stopped working intermittently. I would have to press the button several times to get the connection right. Sometimes it didn’t work at all and I had to resort to using our external keypad. Of course these were the times that it was rainy and cold. 😡I contacted Amazon to complain and they gave me the customer service email. I sent an email explaining the situation to the manufacturer, but the email was returned, marked as undeliverable.Thank goodness Amazon is returning my money, but now I’m back to being without a garage door opener. Save yourself the hassle, buy a different brand.

These worked like a charm! I was worried that they would not arrive in time for my move, but they came in plenty of time. I opened the package and was worried they shipped the wrong thing because they are so small and slim. They are lightweight and the metal clips went on perfectly. I made sure I had the correct door opener before ordering; the one with the purple button. The set up was super quick; push the purple button on the garage door opener and the light immediately flashed. I then pushed the “1” button on the remote and DONE! Now the garage door opens with the remote; so easy! Can’t beat the price and I am super happy. One less thing to worry about.

This is the second one of these I've purchased since moving into a new house. They're easy to program and have much better range than the Chamberlain unit I bought from Lowe's for 3x the price. The only issue I've noticed is that the battery can work it's way out of the contacts, so I put a small piece of cardboard between the battery and the housing so it stays put. The first one I purchased is over a year old and I haven't had any problems with it.

This garage door opener was very easy to program with the help of a Youtube video. It provides a great transmitting signal distance. I can open my garage door about 150 feet away. This opener uses a A23 battery.
