Clearbrook Farms Michigan Red Tart Cherry Preserves 24 oz

I really enjoy Cherry preserves and decided to look on Amazon to see what better offerings they have compared to my local supermarkets.After shopping around I decided to purchase the Clearbrook Farms Michigan Red Tart Cherry Preserves and have been very satisfied. The quality of this product is excellent. There are plenty of whole cherries in the preserves and the taste of real cherry comes through.I also really like the wide mouth design of the jar which makes it very easy to work with.The only issue I have had is that after the preserves have been opened and spend a while in the refrigerator I start to to find some sugar crystallization in the product. But I'd rather deal with this than see the product loaded up with artificial ingredients to prevent it.

Why do they label it tart cherry preserves when they have added so much sugar, the only thing you can taste is sweetness? The best tart cherry spread I have ever tasted had 20 calories per tablespoon. It was sweet but had a hint of tart. This product has 50 calories/Tbsp, and all you can taste is sugar. I am so disappointed.

I have not actualy tasted this jam, I did how ever order it. but opened the jar not wearing my glass so I saw cherry but not much else as I tasted it I thought this is to sweet. it in fact was a sweet cherry jam. that jam was ok but not what I ordered so was disappointed and I don't think ive ordered from them since. I have worked in shipping and know mistakes happen and I didn't try to return it so cant say how that would have worked , but its pricy to order from them and a bother to return stuff not to mention disappionting

Very good tart cherry flavor. However, after we had eaten about two-thirds of the jar, large amounts of sugar crystals began to form in the remainder of the jam, ruining the texture. It was not like it had sat uneaten for a long time, as we ate it fast since it was so good. Very disappointing given how expensive this was.

Great amount of cherries, but love to try it again with a lot less sugar. Not quite tart enough for my taste. Trend in this country is LESS sugar! I would probably, not buy again, unless they come out with less sugar in this product! Maybe, they could offer two types of the cherry, making one with less sugar! I would thin buy several for hostess gifts around the holidays. Love Clearbrook Farms preserves! Great service, as well!

Tart cherries have been found to be very good for your health, and this product makes healthy delicious! This is a preserve chock full of cherries, almost unspreadable on bread because of its consistency, but worth the effort. Also great on pancakes, waffles and ice cream. You should not let these preserves hang around too long in the refrigerator, as the sugar content begins to solidify somewhat. Does not affect the taste, but is a reminder that fresh preserves, once opened are best eaten soon thereafter.

This is my second purchase through Amazon...I actually found my first jar at TJ Maxx (much cheaper, as you might imagine). This is such a good product. I love the cherries, not too sweet and just tart enough to make me pucker a bit so I know it's there. I admit I am a huge fan of pb&j and these preserves are the perfect accompaniment to chunky peanut butter. It's a huge splurge, but I try to only indulge every 6 months or so.

We have become addicted to Clearbrook preserves, the black cherry is one of my favorites. unlike the jellies, jams, and preserves commonly available in stores, the Clearbrook products are not overly sweet, some are quite tart, just like the original fruit. I think they are made in much the same manner as my grandmother used to make, very little additional sugar. They also come in great jars that can be used for a variety of home clutter storage.
