Had bought this many times before but the consistency was terrible, liquified. Seller acknowledged that it had probably been in a warehouse too long or too hot but was not willing to do anything. Avoid!

I like the taste

Dark raw honey is supposed to be in certain ways healthier than lighter raw honey...but it certainly doesn't taste as good. I purchased a lighter honey and it was so good, I bought this darker honey and it has some weird malt flavor to it. It is certainly unique.

Definitely worth the cost. Has a great honey flavor with a floral aroma.

Bought to use specifically in skin care regime. I fell for the antioxidant marketing in the label. I didnt notice any better results than other raw honey. I used it in tea and I liked it at first but it has a strong flavor and scent that I think I didn't care for due to the buckwheat honey in the mix. I wish they'd remove the buckwheat honey since I've had pure buckwheat honey before and hated it. I bought this specifically because of the Maleleuca in the mix, which is supposedly a higher medicinal honey, to use raw honey masks, so I ditched that and started adding it to mustard and made my own honey mustard dressing and that worked rather well! I think ill buy pure maleleuca next time or just the plain raw honey. I really like Y.S. 's other "plain"raw honey that's light yellow in color, its much lighter in taste and seems to have better enzyme action on the skin than this particular honey.

First of all you must remember this item is a paste which means it is extremely thick and compacted into the jar. I always use a good sturdy spoon for the first tasting. I like the color, the smell is okay, but the taste is extremely sweet (so only a small amount is required), a little too thick and has a grainy texture. It even has an almost burned taste to it. But that is only how my palet receives the taste. You may enjoy it. This honey will change the taste of whatever you add it to, so for me this honey is best used in a drink or recipe that you want to add a unique flavor to. It isn't horrible, but I will not place a second order. Good luck and great health to all.
