USE GLOVES TO APPLY.This cream is amazing, but use sparingly. It burns if you apply a large dose, especially on thinner-skinned areas. I love that it's such a high dose of the active ingredient.It's not like Icy-Hot or Bengay. Capsaicin works by affecting the neurotransmitter that communicates pain signals to the brain. You don't even necessarily have to apply to the affected area, and might choose to apply small amounts to the less sensitive parts of your body, such as back or buttocks, instead of joints or feet.Good for use in diabetic neuropathy, migraines, muscle pain, and more. The side effects of the cream fade with regular use. They get worse in warm water, so don't apply before a bath.

I put this on my hands and feet before bed, for arthritis relief. It did not help the joint pain. It just added a terrible, searing, burning pain that lasted 48 hours. All night and all day my hands and feet burned. I tried to wash it off but I couldn't get it off me. Be really careful if you try this. Try a tiny amount and wait at least an hour before using more. I through the tube in the trash because it hurt so badly all night and all day.

I got this cream today, read the directions and applied to both knees and my lower back...that was at 8am this morning...it’s almost 12 hours later and my hands are still burning and so are the backs of my knees and lower back. HOLY COW I had no idea that my body would be burning ALL. DAY.!! I have washed my hands at least 20 times and I have rubbed my eyes too! Everything I touch on my body burns! This is horrible!

This is absolutely awful stuff!!I Purchased this for nerve pain in my foot. I washed my hands with soap and water when I was done applying it and went to bed. I woke with my hands feeling like I had burns all over them! I was able to find online to wash with degreaser dish soap which I did and it helped but I had to do it about 3 times over the following day. I also ended up having to wash my foot with the dish soap and it started with the burning as well. This never helped the pain in my foot at all. Will never use again.

This is powerful pain relief for big daily pain. You must use gloves when applying it, or you will be sorry when you touch another part of your body. I use on my lumbar back, and Achilles tendons. Good for daily use. When spasm is imminent it doesn't help me, but nothing does at that pain point.

This cream feels like you are taking a lighter and setting your skin on fire. Over and over and over again. Every ti,e the air touches your skin! I put it on in the morning and immediately washed it off. The fire pain was bad enough, but when I took a bath tonight, I felt like my legs were completely immersed in fire! The pain was so incredibly intense! The pain spreads out! I’ve had kidney stones! I’m no baby with pain! I don’t know what purpose this cream serves. My skin is dark purple from the creamy burn. I think it’s going to take a few days to actually get this out of my system. Never again will I use this cream! I think you should keep this cream in your pocket to squirt at muggers. It reminds me of pepper spray, although I don’t think pepper spray is this intense.

With this product you get the real warming that capsaicin provides. I much prefer this over the roll-on version which has little capsaicin but adds menthol

This cream works great for arthritis pain and my doctor recommended it for the pain of shingles. Capzasin cream is best put on with gloves because it can really burn eyes due to the hot pepper extract.
