If like me, you got countless of 3.75” figures to display and play with, you should simply buy this skiff. In my view there has been a severe decade-long drought of playlets in particular and vehicles as well. And the one thing I really long for is to make scenes and small diorama’s with the ever better looking figures (although also these are becoming scarce despite the launch of the Rise of Skywalker and the excellent Mandolorian).So this type of vehicle is exactly what I’m looking for. The skiff has not yet been produced in numerous variants over the past decades, it has several play features. And it represents a very meaningful upgrade over the 1980’s Vintage and Saga skiffs as the tooling is all brand new and as detailed as my precious Khetanna or the extremely well sculpted Vintage Collection Imperial Assault tank.The new skiff comes in the silver sidelined Vintage Collection box, which is already a joy to look at. The skiff itself is sturdy and looks very movie-accurate. It requires some modest assembly, like railing and floor panels. But this handling will only make you appreciate the skiff more. When you open the 2 floor hatches you can examine some of the skiff's inner mechanics. The detail of the steering handles in particular is brilliant. Of course there is the retractable plank. There are holes and clips for the guard’s vibro staffs. There is an extra, interchangeable side rail included with hanging cables so that you can dangle Lando and Han above the pit of Carkoon - this alone makes it attractive and different enough to buy perhaps two of these skiffs. The stand with transparent support bars is very welcome. Interestingly the skiff can be twisted sideways on the stand so that it tilts toward a Sarlacc pit.And of course the skiff blends in really well with the Khetanna. The separate set of skiff guards is not that hard to obtain and highly recommended to get along with this skiff, unless you already got two of these figurers (Vizam and Brock Starsher) when individually released in the Vintage Collection.Given the perfection and extremely high play value the price of the skiff is very acceptable. I bought it for £49 and it pleased me much, much more than the two new X-Wings that are available each at double that price but that are far less exciting.I hope Hasbro pulls through with its recent releases of these beautiful Jabba/Tatooine sets. A part of the Sarlacc pit with some tentacles and multi-teethed mouth would be much appreciated. It would be great to float the skiff over this. I'll start freeing up some space!, thank you very much.

I have waited a long time to get my hands on one of these. Original released back in 1985 under the 'Power Of The Force' Label it was one of the last original Star Wars toys ever produced.This new The Vintage Collection Release is as movie accurate as you can get. It has stunning detail and even though made of plastic you would genuinely believe it is made of metal because it has been painted to look so real.It is a real Collectors piece and once assembled and when Action Figures have been added it really comes to life.It was well worth the 35 year wait.The packing is also reminiscent of the Original Return Of The Jedi Toys and adds to the nostalgic feel for those of us can remember that far back !!!!Now all I need is a Sarlacc Pit to put it over...
