Fire Drill

Just what I was looking for to ease my kiddo into fire drills at schools. She is a very "nervous nelly" about loud sounds and fire (hot things). I know they will be practicing fire drills in her class and this book is the perfect way to keep her and help her process.

This is exactly the book we needed to read our child after his initial fire drill in preschool which scared him horribly. Short, gives instructions but also shows that some kids were scared, which is ok, though ultimately teaches that fire drills are fun!

I liked all the books that have been ordered. The children are learning about fires and what to do to be safe.

I use this book during the first few days of school so the children will know what to expect and won't be frightened when we have a school drill. It is very simple, but effective and I can incorporate a lesson around it. Very helpful.
