I didn’t receive the best freezer of the bunch and it had a few issues like others described. The company worked with me and gave me a full credit after sending videos of the noises it was making and photos of scratches. I hope they update their freezers. It is a very nice looking freezer, it just didn’t run properly. 5 stars for an awesome customer service.

I've only had this freezer for about 2 weeks, but so far, it's great! I've been looking for the right one for about a year now and chose this one after favorable comparisons with similar freezers. It has allowed me to unload my refrigerator freezer to the point that I can actually see what is in there. It keeps everything frozen at a setting between 4 & 5..no need to set it higher. It's very quiet and fits perfectly into the designated spot.

Well, after making a spot clear for this item, it needed to have the hinges switched. When I did the bottom hinge, I placed unit on foam padding, and removed hinge, it looked like the hinge would not fit, due to shape, but upon closer look the steel-pivot unscrewed from the plate so it can be switched. Then I noticed the instructions were VAGUE on "do not tip more than 45 degrees" & "if stored at more than 45 degrees", blah, blah, I figure the instructions couldn't be right. I allowed the compressor to settle for about 2 hours, and plugged it in, left at factory temp setting. Seems to be just right, formed a thin layer of frost, but has disapated. Works great.

Only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 - the defrosting time frame was confusing to me, mainly how much frost before defrost is necessary, and general time frame. Other than that cools to freezing fast, size & weight makes location and mobility very easy. Suggest that before you select location, be sure your door is going to open the direction you want. Takes a bit of time and effort to change door.

This freezer is the perfect size of an end-table for my bedroom. I need ice bags at night to sleep for my fibromyalgia pain. This freezer is quiet and small. It takes the place of the end-table I did have next to my side of the bed, and its hight is just perfect. It freezes very well. I would recommend this for others that need that ice bag or other frozen goods real handy. The only one down side I see is it is not self defrosting. I can live with that. :)

We wanted a small but reliable and "portable" freezer that would be good to take when we go camping. After reading reviews of similar products I chose this one. And we purchased this freezer. Two weeks now and not one regret. The small freezer in our coach isn't usable to keep much frozen food, but this one makes up for it. It probably has 15lbs of meat in it in these pictures, but it would hold more. It's light weight (probably +/- 25 lbs empty) makes it easy to carry, and I can't hear it running at all. All the meat in the photos was put in about mid-afternoon one day and was all frozen solid by the next morning, with the thermometer I put in reading -5°. Excellent.The only con was that the top rt edge was dented slightly. It had to have happened during manufacturing process because the unit was well boxed with Styrofoam along all of the edges. as well as the top and bottom. Not a deal breaker but also not perfect like one would expect a brand new appliance to be.This thing is a keeper, hands down. get one of these and you won't be sorry.

This small freezer is very noisy with a loud constant drone/buzzing sound -- and the compressor never cuts off. It runs constantly. It is much louder than my larger refrigerator/freezer. The temperature will not go down to zero. It will cool down only to 4 degrees F. The temperature control knob is on the back of the freezer at the bottom, so you have to lean over the top to reach it, reading the numbers on th knob (numbers hard to see) basically upside down! If it hadn't been so difficult to return (bulky and heavy) I would have.Update 2 months after purchase. The freezer failed and temperature was at 32-34 degrees at coldest setting. I had to throw away food when I just emptied it. When I turned the control knob to off it still kept running so I just had to unplug it. Perhaps the control knob never really worked? I will probably have to pay someone to haul it away. The only good thing is that I don't have to listen to that VERY loud buzzing sound that never stopped. It did run continuously and the compressor was always VERY hot.

I used this to store breast milk while breastfeeding and it was an awesome little freezer to have and couldn’t definitely hold plenty of milk! It’s small like a mini fridge and is great to store somewhere like your room instead of a kitchen! Now I just use it for extra freezer foods and it’s been an awesome little extra freezer to have and to be able to store more. Would highly recommend!
