Good helmet (other features not so good)
EDIT 7/11/21I purchased the LED/Ghost helmet in matte black. I'll rate the individual components:***** (5-stars) Helmet itself - is comfortable & lightweight. I've ridden several times up to 75 miles/4.5 hours. It fits better than my Specialized Airnet and is supposedly a few grams lighter. I was able to mount my The to the inside with no issue. Airflow seems fine, although it's nice to take off on any breaks, like any other helmet.** (2-stars) LED light - is probably worth the $20 extra dollars, but depending on your riding it might not be a suitable tail light. First of all, the brightest angle is with the head slightly downward, but other angles are almost as bright. There is some light visible from the side, but only count on it being somewhat noticeable at night. The strobe function seems the brightest and most attention-grabbing even during the day. I'm only rating 2-stars because the battery lasts about 1/2 as long as advertised in the pulse/strobe modes that I've used. Otherwise, I'd double my rating. If you ride for less than 2 hours at a time, this shouldn't be an issue for you. For me, this only supplements my bontrager flare RT.* (1-star) "ghost" reflectivity - does not seem to be worth the extra $25. I shined a light on it and sure it reflects better than the black, but not much at all. Depending on how much you right at night, I imagine you can purchase much better reflective stickers for less money, and attach them to your helmet, bike, etc.

Great overall helmet - light could be better
Overall this is a great helmet for casual or road cycling. It meets important safety standards like MIPS. It’s very comfortable for long rides, I’ve had no issues for 70+ miles rides and gets good airflow to the head. Adjustment works well and keeps it tight on my head.My only knock on the helmet is the battery life on the rear LED light. It’s super bright and offers multiple blinking patterns. However I notice that I have to charge it before every ride if I’m going longer than 3-4 hours. That seems to be its max life. It’s a little annoying to have to do but not a big deal overall

Well made, solid, more substantial than no-name models, but with one flaw
Overall, I was immediately impressed with this helmet. It fits me perfectly, and had more padding and substance to it than the no-name model it replaced. With that said, the USB port used to charge the light is difficult to navigate, and didn't connect properly the first two times I tried it. The plastic is too thick and close around it, so standard cables don't fit. The cable that came with it was slightly better, but still didn't plug in securely. For $75 I don't feel like the light was well designed. I doubt it will last very long. A little better design would have gone a long way. Feels like the light was just an afterthought, and someone glued on a cheap part they found in China.Overall, the point is to prevent brain injury in a crash, and I believe the helmet will do that. The light was also important to me, though, as I tend to ride after dark. It is hot in Texas in the summer. Any break from the heat of the day is welcome, and that means riding in low-light conditions where any light is a good thing.

Good fit for large heads, and the built-in LED light works great
I needed a new helmet, as I've been riding with a Bern Brentwood XXL helmet for about 4-5 years that's looking worse for the wear (I added pictures for comparison). I have a really big head, measuring around 24 inches/61 cm circumference when my hair's growing out - helmet selection is pretty limited for folks like me. I chose this Bell helmet for its mix of features (CPSC certification, MIPS, built-in LED, hi-vis paint) and that several sites/reviews specifically mentioned it being good for big heads. It fits well - snug enough that it won't slide off on a bumpy ride, but not so tight that it'll give you a headache. It sits well on my head and doesn't mess up my hair (I bike commute to work). The chinstrap is easily adjustable, and the fit dial on the back works as advertised. Bell says the large size should fit 8-62 cm/22.8-24.4 inch circumference heads, and that matches with my experience.Ventilation is excellent - this is a good helmet for sunny weather, but might be a bit too breezy for colder climates.I found it pretty easy to turn on the LED light without looking, but you have to long-press the button to turn it off. This might be a bit fiddly for people living in cold weather. LED brightness is on par with any other small light (not as bright as my Li-ion Cygolite Hotshot Pro, but brighter than my Cateye AA light).

Comfortable but led light is trash.
I really liked it and still do after all but I decided to get this one because of that light. It doesn't charge, the port is clumsy and probably that's why it can't charge. Very cheaply made.

Great deal at the closeout price
I bought this helmet when a particular color was being discontinued and the price was reduced (compared to the other colors), which made it a great buy. I was able to adjust the fit pretty easily and I find it to be perfectly comfortable for rides of any length.Be aware that the instructions warn against leaving the helmet in a hot car (or similar environment). I don't know whether that's common to all bike helmets or just this model, but either way it's something to keep in mind.

Nice helmet - built-in light and funnels sweat away from eyes!
Game changing helmet for me - it truly funnels sweat away from the eyes. With my previous helmets, I had serious issues on hot days going up longer hills because of the sweat dripping down my forehead and causing major burning in the eyes. Trying to remove glasses, wipe, recover. Yuck. With this Bell Formula helmet, one of the reasons I purchased was because it claimed better sweat management and it completely delivers. No more issues.Regarding size, I used a fabric tape measure from a sewing kit and according to the posted measurements I would just barely fit into a Small. Spot on when it arrived - size small helmet adjusted as big as possible, and it just fits.
